What if I told you that her work as pseudo-celebrity troll at ESPN yielded her a job as a writer at... *checks notes* ...  The Atlantic?

What if I also told you that her college football championship piece was on the hypocrisy of college football economics in the NIL era... and that a picture of UM was plastered at the top of the article... AND that she called for revenue-sharing without ever mentioning Harbaugh as a champion of the cause?

So, yes, I'm intentionally not linking the article.

I think this is a blessing in disguise for Tom, that network is a shell of itself anymore.

I see all of the people that worked there and lost there jobs or left ESPN in the past 5 years or so and they all look so happy.

ESPN is toxic, I only watch what's convenient for me and not religiously like I used to.

Good luck Tom, I'm sure you'll thrive because you're great at your job!

SVP is the only one who actually adds personality in a good way these days, but the content he has to rehash over and over is still pretty unwatchable. Sportscenter was must see tv back in the day. It's really too bad what's happened to the network. Stephen A might be my least favorite person on tv and he runs the whole network. And everyone else on there is just trying to be him.

NFL Live might be the only exception in 24 hours. They have a good crew that doesn't just repeat the same nonsense.

Tom VH really was the bridge to my. Ie obsession with recruiting.  Talk about a man that created his own space and job.  Come home Tom VH. Come home to MgoBlog. We will all hold you.

ESPN had 4? different broadcasts of the Rose, at least on my DirecTV.  One was of McAfee and his crew standing on the sidelines and - calling the game, I guess?  I decided to record all 4.  Later much after the game, out of morbid curiosity I watched some of the McAfee extravaganza for all of about 60 seconds, before I was over it.  Was a very odd move by ESPN but they are shoving as much McAfee down everyones throats as they can push.  I don't get it either.  Delete.

He is great, was really bummed out when he left us here at MGoBlog for ESPN - but, who could blame him for not taking that opportunity.

Can't believe it has already been 11 years!

I actually first started my michigan blog by finding TomVH on ESPNs Michigan recruiting site. That shuttered after not that long, and there was some MGoBlog references, which got me into this blog.
