I lived in Bellevue WA for 15 years and never mowed my lawn in January or saw any of my neighbors do so. As far as from a temperature standpoint the Seattle area average's about 45F where as AA averages 25F. This year I would say that gap closed a bit.

02/01/2012 - 2:48pm Granted Stanford is a

Granted Stanford is a perennial top 10 school and UM is a top 25 school, but out of 100's of universities how much really seperates the 2 schools. They're both prestigious schools with a lengthy history of being so. Put it this way, is an employer with no affiliation to either school, going to pick a Stanford grad over a UM grad just because it's Stanford? Is their Law School and Med School significantly superior?

As long as I'm in the room when they're naked tweeting then I agree.

01/04/2012 - 10:00am LOL

Seconded. I actually think there was a moment just after this where the scorebar was pulled.

No doubt. They had absolutely no defense.

12/30/2011 - 9:22pm Man that game was insane.

Man that game was insane. Early on I thought UW was going yo get blown out. Then I thought BU was going to get blown out. In the 2nd half it went blow for blow. RG3 played well but Price looked pretty darn good too.

12/30/2011 - 12:27pm Yeah that was the part that

Yeah that was the part that cracked me up. Like dumping the other schools for that shcedule is going to show us! No, it's going to make you ineligible for a BCS bowl.

12/28/2011 - 7:03pm Your nuts if you think an ACC

Your nuts if you think an ACC or SEC team is going to drop a soft OOC oppponent to pick you up and make their schedule more difficult then the rest of their conference. Padding you schedule with MAC fill ins isn't going to help you out either.

12/28/2011 - 5:13pm LOL

Baby seals? Why would you want to beat one of them?

12/28/2011 - 5:03pm You may not play Umass, or

You may not play Umass, or WMU or EMU but you have your equivalents like Navy, Air Force and South FL. Take Purdue, MSU and UM out of your schedule and you might find 1 or 2 FBS schools to replace them but probably not 3 and that means your record get discounted. It's not just about AP/USA rankings that gets you a BCS bid. Go ask Boise State about it.

12/28/2011 - 3:15pm Wait

when did Heininger get injured? Was it recently in practice? After the ohio game they had a couple of weeks off for finals before practices started up again so if it happened in the last game he might be close to recovery but if it happened in practice he may not.

So the home team has an additional advantage in recruiting.

12/28/2011 - 2:19pm I doubt SEC teams are going

I doubt SEC teams are going to want to make their schedule more difficult by dropping a soft OOC opponent in favor of the Irish and put themselves at a potential disadvantage in the conference race.

12/28/2011 - 2:17pm I assume that the Pac-12

I assume that the Pac-12 (Stanford/USC) would follow suit as well and drop ND for a B1G opponent. Why would they want to make their schedule even harder than it already is. If that happens then ND is totally screwed and would have to join a conference.

12/28/2011 - 2:11pm Ok

Yeah they may have tradtion but no more so than UM and although UM hasn't won a lot of MNC's in the last 50 years (undefeated in 73', 10-1 in 72' & 74' no bowl games) they have won at least a share of 22 B1G Championships in that time.
