Silent Commit?
Sam Webb mentions that he has learned of a 2016 4* silent commit that hasn't been brought up in any June visitor or commit watch lists.
Does #Michigan have a silent commit? @SamWebb77 dishes on it here ($) http://t.co/iJS51EG7fV

speculative names?
Given that they are silent wouldn't every 4* that isn't currently committed to Michigan in 2016 fit the bill?
as it says in the title, they aren't on the June visitor's list and they haven't been mentioned as a lean/been on commit watch. I understand it could be a big field, but that should narrow it down a tad.
Big silent star
The actrss who played Talisa Stark on Game of Thrones is Charlie Chaplin's granddaughter.
This is indeed true.
She looks great naked.
UM currently has 201 offers out. I'd estimate 180 of those are to 4 stars.
About 10-12 are leans to strong leans depending on who you ask. That leaves you around 170. If you want to eliminate guys committed to other schools that eliminated about 80 (give or take). So you are down to 90. Remove anyone visiting in June. And then I assume you have 75 or so to pick from and wildly speculate.
Now are these Scout 4 stars or just your run-of-the-mill 247 composite 4 stars?
I would maybe narrow it down further to people who have visited, as it is more unlikely that someone would be a silent commit without visiting first.
To take it further, its possible that this is an out of state prospect who might face a lot of heat for publicly committing, so they are keeping it quiet.
I'll guess, Devin Bush Jr. or Dontavious Jackson.
Speculating is fun.
I'll throw Ahmir Mitchell in with that being the criteria. He had already narrowed it down quite a bit. Maybe we can has all the NJ croots?
Sam said the kid didn't want it public so he could take his visits in peace. Sam also said his stance on silent commits is that they've just named their favorite. I would tend to agree -- especially in this case. If the kid is silent for a couple weeks to an official announcement that is one thing. If he is silent for a few months so that he can take visits...it is not that exciting to me.
I have us with 215 offers out right now (LINK).
Didn't Harbaugh backtrack on the offer to Messiah DeWeaver? Or is it still out there and Harbaugh et al. made it clear that they'd be going after other QBs, so DeWeaver decided to look elsewhere?
He basically told DeWeaver that he could stay committed if he wanted, but that Michigan would continue to pursue other quarterbacks in the 2016 class.
I'll take a Ron Johnson with a side of Brad Hawkins please!
It's not Ron Johnson. Besides, he's only a 3-star on Scout.

Ron Johnson, 2016 4* defensive end prospect.
Not ROJO...
Is visiting THIS weekend - so wouldn't be on the June lists...

has him as a 4-star; but is a 247 5-Star Composite...so probably getting my hopes way too high!
Well FWIW, this is a Scout post so they'll use their rankings - where he is a 4*
How about Devin Bush Jr? You know, just a hunch
I think Bush could be a candidate since he's a Florida State legacy and may not want to deal with the backlash publicly committing to Michigan. However, he's visiting in mid-June so he may not have fit the criteria.
FYI: Sam Webb works for Scout. Therefore, he uses Scout ratings.

Johnson is only a 3-star on Scout.

I think Jordan Diamond is part of the Countess trade, right?
for a linebacker. Everyone he hits fumbles, is unconcious, or goes backwards. No idea what level of competition he is facing, but looked great for a junior.
It's some pretty darn good competition. The school has over 4,000 students, and they play some powerhouses in Texas. He's a legit prospect.

EMU would smoke a highschool team...maybe if it was an All star team, the game would be competitive. Think of all the guys who are high recruits who come in and are never heard from again...now they play against guy who are a few years older on average and have been practicing and weight training for additional years...then there would be college offenses/defenses vs high school
And it's fairly rare for even the best HS programs to have more than 5 or so D1 caliber recruits in a year. Eastern would beat any HS team in the country by about 70 points
This is similar to when people used to say 05 USC could beat the Lions. As abysmal as the Lions used to be, they're still all generally all-conference (or better) performers in college plus a few more years of skill and strength
I know no HS team could beat a fbs or fcs team. Kentucky could never beat the Sixers. Bama couldn't beat the Winless Lions. Im the biggest naysayer of those arguments trust me. Just trying to convey the level of competition this young man plays at. Best in the country for his level.
