Ok, and maybe one of the other 5 teams they beat would have beaten Michigan in a championship game. Claiming that 2013 championship would be dumb as hell, they didn't win it on the court.

Also while yes the block was clean Michigan was still losing at that point in the game. Not like it automatically a win if that call is made correctly. Listen that game was heartbreaking, I was there, Michigan was also the more talented team but Burke never really got going after first half foul trouble.

pretty much every day is a dark day for you monocle.  ever think about changing things, enjoying life a little, blessing others with your great intellect and talents instead of lashing out?  you never know, could be good for you.

Because it’s not a race where Michigan also beat every other team. Michigan has no more claim to that national championship than Wichita state does, who also only lost to an invalid team and can argue they would have beaten us in a hypothetical championship game since they lost to Lville by less than we did

While Mo stole the show, one of the missed highlights was that down the stretch Derrick Walton was more clutch than future NBA Star (and someone who talked mad shit during this game) Donovan Mitchell.

Also Pitino went out with a loss to a team he cheated out of a Nat’l Championship.

Thanks to that video my kindergarten age school son is now practicing three pointers on the Fisher Price hoop in our basement and measuring them in terms of "Trey Burke three pointers" as in, "WHOA DAD, did you see my shot!?!? That was almost a TREY BURKE THREE POINTER".  I've never been more proud.

Good call. There's also fab five tournament games on YouTube. Watch them against OSU last week, was interesting game. Interesting also to see how the way the game is played has changed. Was sad they didn't have HDTV back then image quality kind of sucked, but maybe that has more to do with the quality of the recording device.

Not only is it available there, but you can find a veritable history of Michigan basketball and football on Hailtv.com. You should really patronize this Michigan website, which offers complete network game coverage of the 2013 and 2018 NCAA championship runs.

Watched the Kansas game there and the Houston Poole shot game winner that led to the 3-point extravaganza against Texas A&M, one of Michigan's most enjoyable NCAA wins ever. Toniight may watch the Florida State followup contest.

I remember Kansas' center (don't remember his name) was talking a bit of crap about McGary before the game. Obviously Burke gets all the glory from this game, but McGary just went off for 25 points and 14 rebounds.

Needless to say, I think whoever was talking about McGary before the game didn't have much to say afterwards.

I watched some of this game a few nights ago on BTN. The things that struck out to me:

McGary's hands & energy were elite. He should've been a poor man's Jokic in the NBA, with better energy & rebounding, but worse passing and scoring. Sad he couldn't keep himself together.

Kansas was incredibly unlucky. We did not really play great D at the end of the game. Kansas just had a bunch of good looks go in-and-out.

Burke was clutch. Made a bunch of tough shots.

We had 6 NBA players in the rotation. The 5 typically on the court (Burke, Stauskas, THJ, GRIII, McGary) plus LeVert as a defensive sub.  Raise your hand if you thought THJ & LeVert would be the best pros out of that bunch.

I can still hear the call

"Burke takes it down...5 seconds fires from 3...AND THE GAME IS TIED"

and then Blake McLimans going "THATS WHAT YOU DO"
