Is Donovan next?
January 14th, 2024 at 6:39 PM ^
I think The Don stays, 🤞.
January 14th, 2024 at 6:52 PM ^
ditto here! A big chance for him to improve his draft stock as well
January 14th, 2024 at 8:57 PM ^
The Don is a weapon Figure out how to use him in 2024
January 15th, 2024 at 2:32 AM ^
Really wish they would get him good at returning punts and line him up at receiver more. We are going to need the help at receiver badly. Could be a lot like Steve Breaston was.
January 14th, 2024 at 6:55 PM ^
Thought I read he just inked a big NIL deal?
January 14th, 2024 at 7:01 PM ^
For Raising Canes chicken, right?
January 14th, 2024 at 7:12 PM ^
That was just a short term thing, for the past few years Raising Cane's has brought in stars from NCAA champions (Stetson Bennett, Angel Reese, etc.) to work a shift at a location shortly after winning the title. It has absolutely no bearing on him potentially returning next year.
January 14th, 2024 at 8:10 PM ^
I kind of figured that with the "They got me here today.. I wish I was at home" exchange with a fan/customer. It's money, but if I had my choice working a shift at a fast food restaurant wouldn't be something I would be super enthusiastic about after just winning a national championship the night before.

I’m about to say something I really want to disagree with but I think he’s better off going pro. I don’t think he’s being used to anywhere close to his potential in this offense, not sure if it’s Mike or Sherrone, but I think if he stays he’ll “regress” even more.
I love Donovan and his attitude but he’s gotta look to his future.
I really hate myself for saying that.
January 14th, 2024 at 6:36 PM ^
best of luck young man!
January 14th, 2024 at 6:53 PM ^
Agreed- also, please remember to post this on the next 5 RW threads as well!
January 14th, 2024 at 6:36 PM ^
Good luck Roman. thank you for the National Championship, 3 B1G championships and beating Osu 3 years in a row.
January 14th, 2024 at 6:39 PM ^
Is this copy-pasta a bit or something? I'm trying to figure out why you have the same typo in every single one of these comments.
January 14th, 2024 at 6:41 PM ^
Yes but aside from the Natty, 3 B1G championships and beating Osu 3 years in a row, what have Romans ever done for us?

January 14th, 2024 at 6:39 PM ^
So, JJ is not announcing today?
January 14th, 2024 at 6:40 PM ^
Oh, you sweet, innocent soul.
January 14th, 2024 at 6:40 PM ^
He already has.
January 14th, 2024 at 7:06 PM ^
... or so the Germans would have us believe!
January 14th, 2024 at 6:45 PM ^
The NFL couldn't have picked a better year to have the Draft In Detroit!
January 14th, 2024 at 6:46 PM ^
Feel like we should probably have a sticky for all the staying and going announcements.
January 14th, 2024 at 6:50 PM ^
A going away luau is in order.
January 14th, 2024 at 6:53 PM ^
Nugent and German Green have officially declared as well.
January 14th, 2024 at 7:05 PM ^
German Green?
January 14th, 2024 at 7:09 PM ^
Yup, German Green. Pretty sure he was the one who got the first Gatorade bath that missed Harbaugh. His brother was here as well. German was a 6th year player I think.
January 14th, 2024 at 7:24 PM ^
Harbaugh did him dirty.
January 14th, 2024 at 8:19 PM ^
Welcome to Mgoblog where we don't even check if something we are posting has already been posted three times in the past half hour. Things like "player who is out of eligibility declares for the draft" is par for the course.
January 14th, 2024 at 7:09 PM ^
He applied for a 7th year and didn't get it.
January 14th, 2024 at 9:07 PM ^
The German?
January 14th, 2024 at 7:04 PM ^
Helluva year by Roman.
Again, another guy that stepped up and made huge plays with the game on the line. This team was filled with guys like that. Our best players played like it when it mattered most.
Another kid I am going to miss.
But, they did what they set out to do - so mission accomplished.
January 14th, 2024 at 7:05 PM ^
Wasn’t this more or less expected, regardless of how the postseason went for us?
January 14th, 2024 at 7:11 PM ^
In solidarity with so many of our beloved players, I will also be declaring for the NFL draft. Age 59, low motor, highly averse to contact. Bad knee, could still probably beat my 92 year old father in a 40. Do not take this as a guarantee! In tremendous shape, as round IS a shape. Team guy, will cheerfully accept never playing a down-in fact, that's my only chance for survival. Serious offers only!
January 14th, 2024 at 7:19 PM ^
All I know is if were a billionaire...
- 15-20 mill Harbaugh
- 2 mill JJ + lower ext ins (ZZinter ins)
- 5 mill to keep my roster (happy)out the portal
January 14th, 2024 at 7:34 PM ^
Do we have any players left?
January 14th, 2024 at 8:12 PM ^
Plenty.
January 14th, 2024 at 11:31 PM ^
Those who stay!
January 14th, 2024 at 8:40 PM ^
Roman freaking answered the bell this year, and that catch on the final drive against Alabama? All time great moment for Michigan history. Especially in the postseason.
He wasn’t an all world receiver like MHJ, but he didn’t have to be. When he was called upon, he ANSWERED THE BELL. His effort this year will not be forgotten.
That David Tyree-esque catch against Nebraska? Holy cow!
