OT - Chickens no longer deemed a Nervous Bird

Per Harbaugh at his presser airing on BTN.

I was wrong. Highly productive. They're happy to see me.

Who could ever dislike a man capable of quotes like this?

And then I play with them, too. I let them out in the yard. We run around and they're happy to see me. They're happy to see me. There's times when I do good things for other people and they're not as happy to see me as my chickens are  So it's good. It's good for my mental health as well. And get fresh eggs every day. Highly productive. Highly productive.

For those that are lost.  See clip below about harbaugh telling speight to avoid chicken.
His daughter posted on twitter this weekend of her dad’s love for family , his team ( players and coaches) , players are like sons to him, Michigan AND surprisingly his chickens.

So that is what ties it all together.

and then you've got your meat birds - big, slow, stupid, eat a ton, immovable when they want to be.  those are your lineman.

*END OF YEAR SALE* Cornish Cross

they aren't nervous.  they lay around and eat and sit in the sun.

I chuckled loudly while watching earlier as Coach Harbaugh describe life among chicken and his newfound respect for the natural (as opposed to the mangy BigTen variety) ways of this low-maintenance and highly productive bird 🐔. He was especially complimentary towards the hens.

It's a must-watch, once it's posted on YouTube or your preferred source* for all positive things re: Harbaugh.

Love Coach's demeanor. The whole thing's got to be super frustrating to him, but at the same time he's got to have so much pride in seeing how the staff and team have rallied together and pushed on without him (and for him).

James Franklin speaking now, I couldn't help but laugh.

reporter : "James, whats the time line on hiring a new OC"?

James: "sooner rather than later but hiring someone is a full time job, I don't have time for 2 full time jobs "

Me " I know a guy that just managed 3 full time jobs and kicked your ass "
