08/15/2017 - 2:41pm Kinda . . .

Like you should know the difference between "equivocating" and "equating"?

10/31/2016 - 1:14pm Sauces

Please tell me that we're going to make "sauces" a thing now. You know, like "moms."

I really think it has to happen.

My undergrad. Also like to keep half an eye on Arizona now that Rich Rod is there.

06/09/2016 - 12:05pm Your thread title is bad

And you should feel bad.

05/13/2016 - 12:49pm My man

Do yourself a favor and get a calculator. You're still way off.

first month's rent (call it x) + 10% of payments (y) = $7,500

The only way this works is if x is a hair over $3,550.

If one month's rent is $3,550, a year of rent payments is $42,600. Which is much less than $60,000.

Not to mention the fact that the rent payments don't have any direct correlation to, but are probably significantly more than, whatever the mortgage payment is.

05/13/2016 - 11:20am Not sure how great you are at math

But your reading comprehension is terrible. He said *first month's rent* plus 10%, which puts annual payments at far less than $70,000.

10/03/2015 - 2:18pm Glasgow hurt?

Did he leave the field hurt?

10/01/2015 - 5:39pm Solid Verbal is your jam

It's not specifically about UM or the B1G, but it's a great college football podcast.

05/17/2015 - 9:13pm Calling my shot on the ending

I believe Don's ending is going to have something to do with an airplane.  He watched one out of the window at McCann just before leaving on his latest vision quest.  Also, I noticed when catching part of the marathon this weekend that in the dream-like sequence with the women trying on the furs, one of them says to him "you missed your flight."

One of the great things about this show is the way they weave in themes, foreshadowing, and motifs like you would fine in a good piece of literature.  Anyway, I'm not Raback-ing (sp?) it, but I'm saying Don's final acts with involve an airplane.

02/27/2015 - 12:31am Thanks

Thanks sadeto -- hope he enjoys it!

02/27/2015 - 12:06am Author from Birmingham

First name: John

City:  Birmingham, MI

High School:  Birmingham Groves

UM connection:  Lifelong fan, law school grad

Fun fact:  This might be self-promotional, but feels right in this thread.  I write mystery novels and just came out with my second this week (the fact that my first was nominated for an Edgar award probably qualifies as my "greatest achievement").  It's a YA novel but I think adults will like it too, so if you're looking for a thriller to read check me out (website link).

06/26/2014 - 1:45pm Twellman

Just me or does this guy sound exactly like Jesse Palmer?

03/30/2014 - 3:50pm Samuel Jackson

Must be really hard up for money.

03/21/2013 - 6:44pm Saturday start time?

Gonna be there Saturday.  Anyone know when the start time is going to be announced?

02/08/2013 - 8:32am How are we first in B1G?

Wouldn't Indiana have the tiebreaker against us?

01/30/2013 - 8:09pm Right

Not the play by play guy, the other one.

01/30/2013 - 8:06pm BTN

Is it just me or is this BTN analyst actually pretty good?

01/24/2013 - 8:26pm GRIII

GRIII: Scores quietly, dunks loudly.

01/24/2013 - 8:11pm Going to outdo you here

And bitch about the way you're bitching about people who bitch about the way people bitch about the refs.

01/24/2013 - 8:06pm Ref comments

One thing you can definitely expect in second half: bitching about the refs on Mgoblog. It gets really old -- try to resist.

01/19/2013 - 1:09am Next mark

If this catfish dude is looking for another mark, he should hit up Jeremy Schaap.

01/19/2013 - 1:03am Infuriating

This is so infuriating -- did they not even ask him why he kept talking about his girlfriend after December 6th?  That is a critical issue.  Schaap just seems like a cheerleading for the guy.

01/17/2013 - 9:07pm Wow

Do you have a link for that?  Not doubting you (as if anybody could doubt anything about this story at this point); I'd just be really curious to read a report.

01/17/2013 - 9:03pm Interesting possibility

If true I'd have a lot more respect for ESPN.  I've been wondering why this Heisman interview hasn't been getting more play since Awful Announcing dug it up.  Seems pretty damning.

01/17/2013 - 8:58pm Except . . .

It wasn't ESPN that pointed out the above interview -- it was Awful Announcing.

01/16/2013 - 11:46pm Created today

Looks like that twitter account was created today.  Bizarre . . .

10/25/2012 - 3:20pm Tap at MGM

You might want to check out Tap (I think that's the name), a new sports bar in the MGM.  It replaced the Wolfgang Puck restaurant.  I'm sure they have tons of TVs.

03/14/2012 - 9:41am Ahhh

Just me then.  Thanks.

03/14/2012 - 9:19am Black to tackle?

Is it just me, or is the bigger news here the fact that they're moving Jibreel Black to DT?

03/05/2012 - 4:01pm (No subject)

03/03/2012 - 1:36am Here,

let me Google that for you.

01/02/2012 - 3:21pm Nitpick

altogether

12/16/2011 - 6:21pm Yes

Yes it would.  Thankfully, Coach Hoke is nowhere near as full of himself.

12/16/2011 - 10:42am Pointing it out

Even if he sees a referee make a blatantly incorrect call, he's not going to know who to tell.

08/29/2011 - 1:00pm Seniority

Is it just me or does it seem like the guys with the most seniority won a lot of the disputed position battles?  Odoms is the one exception to this that jumps out.  Anyway, hopefully they are giving spots to the best guys regardless of what class they're in.

08/29/2011 - 11:25am DFW

I respect the amount of self-reflection and humility in this post, but I think it's time to point out a fact that has gone under-appreciated on this blog for some time: David Foster Wallace is not the only literary reference in the world.

08/28/2011 - 5:43pm Agree

I'm a Stanford grad, and I agree with this 100%.
