That's all most people's arguments are on here seem to be these days.

I got a "go kill yourself" the other day by someone on twitter who has an account here and posted in this thread. Mad online is the funniest mad.

Quite amusing as most people on this site didn't go to U-M, either. Or people that attend games.

Here's what Brian say about "those" people who pull that card-

Michigan fans have this odd conversation about whether it's okay to be a Michigan fan without having attended the school. They do this largely because MSU fans are livid that nobody who doesn't go to MSU gives a damn about the Spartans and project this anger all around them. Meanwhile 95% of Alabamans are either Auburn or Alabama fans, and… uh… let's just stipulate that more than 5% of Alabamans do not have a degree from either institution. (Ace, at home, just screamed "BAN BOOKLARNIN'" again.)
It is good to have Michigan fans scattered about with no other connection to the school. One of them just joined the recruiting class:
“Honestly I’ve been a Michigan fan since I was little,” [Dylan] McCaffrey said. “My grandma is a big Michigan fan. She has a house about 40 minutes away [from Ann Arbor], so I don’t know why, but I just ended up loving them. I could’ve always seen myself going there, and in the end I just went back to how I felt about Michigan as a kid.”
Another person who was a Michigan fan for no particular reason: Jabrill Peppers. Let all who want to root for winged helmets do so irrespective of their degrees, and let MSU fans stew about it.

Who gives a fuck what Brian said about it? You need to back off the hero worship, kiddo. And quit making excuses, it's like all you do.

And I don't think you've actually read any of the words that people have been typing, because I see a lot of solid arguments, not personal attacks. That is, until you start spewing your usual. Then it gets personal, because this is what you do. It's fucking sad. Grow up, you have to sooner or later (sooner is generally better).

Well you called me a troll and MSU fan, so why can't I fire back?

Funny thing is I was just looking through my post history because you pointed it out. Would a troll make this thread about Connor Cook? Oh and wait, look at the first response in that thread...

Bottom line is you feel the need to post in pretty much every thread, and most of what you do is whine or make excuses. You're annoying, so I poke fun at you.

What am I going to do, respond to his list of a dozen excuses one by one? Sometimes the kid just needs to be called out. Kurpit pretty much summed it up: "If you think that any one school has been having decades of bad breaks and that is what is shaping their seasons, post-seasons, and program then you're just delusional."

Now we have to hope everybody else loses and we sneak into a play-in game.

I do NOT want to go to the NIT.  The stink of it still has not washed off from the Amaker years.

Yeah, a win over NW in the BTT is not going to help, we are out unless we beat IU. Tough season, Coach Beilein needs to make some adjustments.

Bennet ball is boring but almost everyon here insists UM can not recruit at high levels ever again in basketball because it doesnt play "the game" so he may be the best option for UM basketball long term because people have conceded UM wont get the recruits even OSU and MSU get I guess at Michigan because we are above it all.  So the next best option is to be a suffocating boring team that you hate to watch unless you are a Michigan fan and you dont need that top 30-40 type of player to run.

Whats truly sad is we were told we had to wait a few years for recruiting to shoot thru the stars post NC game appearance because bball is a longer game than fball.  So we waited those years and we lose all over the place on the recruiting trail.  Then we were told Jumpman would fix everything - kids would be lining up outside AA to get in.  We have Jumpman - nothing has changed.

So stay clean and start winning games 59-51 with Bennett- thats the only way we are going to be consistently in the top 4 in conf at UM per the commentary here.

have loved to see what is apparently a vaunted 1-3-1 half court trap sometime before 7 minutes to go in the fucking season. File it under things that COULD HAVE BROUGHT TO MY ATTENTION YESTERDAY!!!

We've tried it in nearly all of our losses. It doesn't work. Big Ten teams have it scouted. I have no idea why Iowa freaked out against it because when they beat us at Carver they hit 2 threes in a row when we tried it.

I still hold out hope they can sneak in, but they REALLY needed to take one of these last two games.  Beating Nebraska or whoever in the BTT won't help, and IU is going to plow over this team unless they just get incredibly hot from the field (which doesn't seem possible).  I mean, at least they'll play in a tournament for once, but this has been depressing to watch them scuttle these past few games.

Thanks JB for all you've done for M basketball, but your lack of good recruiting, ability of your team to play D, and not much hope coming in the future, the A.D. needs to spend March Madness looking for a really good, hungry, young coach.

I'm reading a lot of comments regarding the lack of good shooting, terrible defense and seemingly no really big hope in sight reminds me of the RR era, at least Beilein has done some special things.

We're soft like we were with RR, not recruiting adequately, offense that teases us but not against the big boys, defense is woeful, make dumb mistakes, all these things are so RR-like it's scary.

I know we're missing our best player and another who is smart and clutch but having a guy who turned out to be brittle shouldn't make you so average in the 9th year and the best success is far in the rear view mirror.

We're stuck between a rock and a hard place in our program, the next year or 2 will be interesting to see how Manuel handles it if it stays the same as it has been for 2 years now. Brecause I just don't see U-M firing him yet, so unless the freshman next year infuse some talent and the upperclassmen somehow improve, it ain't gonna be fun.

until tonight..But Im done supporting him..UNACCEPTABLE,,,time for coaching change..To go from a Final 4 and Elite 8 to this?...I was at the Final 4 and I cant tell you how excited and happy I was because I thought this program had FINALLY turned the corner..Im not saying I expected a Final 4 every year but I did think we could at least make the tournament..Dont talk to me about injuries,,,everybody has them but to see these players not improve AT ALL for 2 consecutive years and NOT be competitive just dont cut it...Who should be our new coach?..Ward Manuel your crediblility as the new AD is on line...were watching you

I'm not saying tonight was the only bad result. YOU said you never said a bad word about JB before tonight. And now you want him fired. That's a weird rationale and not very logical.

I'm not going to judge our brand new AD's credibility on whether or not he gets rid of our MBB coach (the only one who has taken us that far in NCAA tournament since the early 90's) a month into his job.

"We're" not watching him. You might be but don't lump everyone else here into your butthurt response.
