It's not just about bugs... Beta testers should have easily been able to report back on just how ridiculously bad the layout is.

06/09/2018 - 9:22pm Mobile friendly layouts are…

Mobile friendly layouts are based off of maximizing efficiency of space and minimizing scrolling when not reading. I would say they failed pretty badly at both of those.

Really small thing, but I like when forums show a little preview of the post when you hover over the title with your mouse. Useful for when people use vague titles to tell if it's worth clicking on the thread or not.

What the hell were you watching for three years?

05/31/2018 - 8:59am He needs to be IP banned.

He needs to be IP banned. It's almost unbelievable to me that someone can be *that* toxic and not a troll.

05/14/2018 - 5:14pm I see very few Michigan fans

I see very few Michigan fans down on Wilson. Saying you'd prefer McDaniels isn't any kind of indictment on Wilson.

05/14/2018 - 5:13pm It's incredibly dumb to go

It's incredibly dumb to go off of the weights listed by services while they're still in high school. nbadraft.net lists him at 200, Rivals says 195, ESPN says 190. Why try to intentionally mislead by picking out the outlier weight of 175 to discuss here?

05/05/2018 - 9:12pm Two seniors on my high school

Two seniors on my high school alma mater's hockey team got kicked out of school for literally sticking a stick up a freshman's ass. They had the locker room keys because one of them was the team captain. I can't think of a more cowardly act than something like that. Even my frat never had anything that would fuck me emotionally like getting sodomized by a wooden stick.

05/04/2018 - 8:58pm If he returns this defense

If he returns this defense will be absurd. Shooting will obviously be a question mark, but the defense alone should carry us to at least a top 3 Big Ten finish with the state of the conference being rather "meh."

05/02/2018 - 2:12pm The notion that Fox News is

The notion that Fox News is any more biased/untrustworthy than any of the other major networks is so weird. 100% of them are agenda driven shit shows. Just because you think CNN or NBC is correct doesn't make them any less biased or valid.

04/28/2018 - 12:30am "I know you can't relate at

"I know you can't relate at gvsu but these guys sacrifice more than you will ever know."

People who make everything needlessly personal are the worst kind of people.

04/26/2018 - 9:20pm The notion that females can't

The notion that females can't handle sexual stuff is a bit degrading, no?

I mean I personally find it somewhat tasteless and it doesn't add anything valuable, but that's describing like 20% of all comments. I get that the site has an image to uphold, but I don't get why "no sexual stuff" would be just a "getting women to the site" thing.

04/23/2018 - 4:38pm America is facing 5

America is facing 5 Goliaths.

Al Qaeda, global warming, sex preditors, mercury poisoning. So do we just give up? Is that what we're learning in business school?

04/23/2018 - 12:57pm Do you even know if he

Do you even know if he actually had a gun? What a random thing to get so mad about with so few available facts.

04/22/2018 - 10:39pm Devil's Advocate

Driving drunk is a far more life threatening thing than vague tweets IMO.

04/22/2018 - 7:03pm I'm hijacking this to respond

I'm hijacking this to respond to a comment you made awhile ago in a different thread that you probably won't check. You said you might have a copy of the 2008 Duke basketball game, is there any chance you could check? Honestly I'm willing to pay to figure out a way to get it digital given that I've been looking for a decade with no luck.

04/22/2018 - 6:58pm Have you guys ever considered

Have you guys ever considered adding a moderator who has relatively centrist viewpoints so it's not such a one sided team?

04/22/2018 - 11:52am It's April 22nd and we're

It's April 22nd and we're still talking about UCF football. They were brilliant with this entire thing and the sports media combined with the people who got irrationally angry about it fed right into everything. Honestly I respect it, because the system really does f*** mid majors right now (expand it to 8 games with an auto bid for the best mid major, please).

04/17/2018 - 10:07pm I've been trying to find the

I've been trying to find the full 2008 Duke game at Crisler for a decade and have had no luck.

Sadly, some are incapable of debating without ad hominems.

Also, Morgan caught very few oops over his career. That's just a lie.

04/11/2018 - 5:55pm Quick feet != overall agility

Quick feet != overall agility and certainly not explosiveness. People certainly seem to remember Morgan differently than he actually was. He definitley was no transition demi-god.

Ibi was a sophomore to be fair.

04/11/2018 - 12:26am Awesome at points. But "quick

Awesome at points. But "quick and explosive" are not words that I would use to describe him. I think he's very similar athletically to Davis.

04/10/2018 - 10:36pm Was Jordan Morgan quick and

Was Jordan Morgan quick and explosive? Would you say he ever gave Michigan meaningul, quality minutes? Austin Davis probably tied Morgan's career alley-oop numbers with his vs. A&M.

04/10/2018 - 10:34pm Not to mention we have a

Not to mention we have a 6'11" dude with a large wingspan coming in and two 6'8" combo forwards. No clue where he's getting his info from.

04/10/2018 - 10:31pm Yup, I said at the beginning

Yup, I said at the beginning of this I would be shocked to see Maryland get through this cleanly due to their relationship with Under Armour. I thought they were more likely to be paying guys than MSU. I would say Minnesota too because of Pitino, but they mostly get transfers so idk.

04/10/2018 - 1:53pm Absolutely criminal that he's

Absolutely criminal that he's in the 130's on the composite. ESPN devoting nobody to recruiting, Rivals being full of people who are impossibly awful at scouting, and scout merging with 247 really killed the composite's goodness. Honestly I'd reather just look at the 247 grade itself.

04/10/2018 - 1:47pm Huh?

That's not true at all, Donnal was very much expected to be a 5. From UMHoops' commitment post:

Donnal is a great fit for the five position in Michigan’s offense. He can step out and hit a jump shot, put the ball on the floor at times and is comfortable running the pick and roll. He needs to continue to gain strength but with two years left in his high school career, he should step on campus."

On this site he was listed in the season preview with other 5's McGary, Bielfeldt, Horford, and Morgan.

04/10/2018 - 4:06am You either didn't read his

You either didn't read his post or have absolutely no clue what net neutrality is. This isn't anything close to an ISP blocking a site, it's a cable provider doing what it has done since BTN started and only allowing regional access to streams combined with a browser cache problem. It has nothing to do with NN and could've easily happened 3 years ago. The amount of people who comment on things they know nothing about is too damn high.

To OP, clear your cookies and/or try from a browser you don't usually use and you should be able to log in from a different account. Give Incognito Mode a shot too.

04/10/2018 - 12:06am I feel bad for their

I feel bad for their (non-reality denying) fans. After the UNC scandal I had to look at my alma mater differently. I wasn't there during that time and it was still a bit nauseating to see what the administration did. I can’t imagine having to look at my school and see “rape enablers” instead of “helped athletes get artificially better grades.”

Now it should go without saying that the actual victims are the, well, victims, but still. I know a lot of sane sparties who are a bit crushed that the school they loved did this.

04/08/2018 - 10:10am How the f*** does a football

How the f*** does a football documentary give you powers to see Speight's life story and how "priviliged" he is/was? He's from Richmond Virginia, not exactly the epicenter of rich whiteness. And what the hell does his race have to do with his arrogance? What an ignorant comment.

Sparty troll. Post history is absolutely garbage, I don't know how he's made it this far.

I think his nickname makes people assume he's athletic, while in reality he's pretty much Eli Brooks.

"I never have doubts about a teenagers ability to speak."

You clearly haven't met many teenagers. Also, random unprovoked hostility isn't healthy.

04/07/2018 - 12:29pm Absolutely horrific

I don't know what kind of bus they took, but my high school baseball team just had normal school busses take us to stuff. One day we got in a simple fender bender and people were flying everywhere (somewhat hyperbolic). I've alwasy felt since then that it's incredibly dangerous to have no seat belts in those busses and that any potential crash like this would do far more damage than if they did.

04/04/2018 - 2:56pm I got into as many

I got into as many debates/arguments with him as anyone there, but you still have to look at the immense value that his connections and recruiting updates bring. He's not a bad guy at all, just strong in his opinions, as many of us are.

04/04/2018 - 10:48am Hey Matt, always good to see

Hey Matt, always good to see a post from you.

How many guys do you think Beilein is willing to take in the 2019 class given that there's no open scholarships right now barring transfers? I love the '19 targets we have and it would be a shame to only be able to take one. Any order for which prospects you personally think Beilein should prioritize?

04/04/2018 - 10:45am I don't know what "burned"

I don't know what "burned" means to you, but the Tyus Battle / Josh Langford saga absolutely burned us. Ibi was the replacement.

Geez, y'all are harsh negging someone for having a different opinion.

Eso Akunne and Amadu(spelling?) Ba say hi.

03/28/2018 - 12:24pm I don't have a link right

I don't have a link right now,, but a respected poster at UM hoops figured out that at a school like Michigan it's about $100,000 over four years. It completely varies based on the school, I think it's determined by revenue.

03/27/2018 - 10:35pm Moritz Wagner gave up a

Moritz Wagner gave up a surefire contract in Europe for the "horrible, unfair, evil" system that we have with the NCAA. I don't think he's complaining about it.

edit: Also, it would be a Title IX shit show to have two men's sports getting even more money than the generous stipends and zero women's sports.

03/27/2018 - 10:31pm I mean, welcome to literally

I mean... welcome to literally every non-high end job ever. Surely you can't be this naive.

03/27/2018 - 10:29pm It's not just you at all.

It's not just you at all. This same topic came up on umhoops.com a couple weeks ago and I did a pretty in depth look at the situation and found the value of their scholarships to be worth over a million dollars, which includes $200,000 in pure cash and services (monthly stipends, housing, books, education) for an in state student at Michigan and about $335,000 for out of state students over 4 years. The cash stipends alone are nearly $100,000 over 4 year, with no bills to pay it's certainly not like they're "barely able to eat."

Then you go the more conceptual part of determining the lifetime worth of a degree from Michigan. Pure average earnings wise it gets the total value of the athletic scholarship to well over $1,000,000.

03/27/2018 - 10:21pm Completely wrong, when I look

Completely wrong, when I look at John Beilein the only thing I see is someone who cares about petty NCAA inter-politics. I don't think there's a single coach in the country who is more likely than Beilein to allow this type of protest.

Do I need the /s? I feel like I do given some comments here.

03/27/2018 - 10:20pm If you're saying the free

If you're saying the free market applies here 100% like everything else then you're admitting that it can't be as "evil and unfair" as you people make it out to be, given the thousands of players every year who willingly participate in NCAA revenue sports.

03/25/2018 - 9:18pm I mean... were they good

I mean... were they good shooters? Duke has literally 1 other player besides Allen who has taken at least 50 threes and shoots better than 30% (this relatively poor shooting team for Beilein has 7, as a comparison), and that's center Marvin bagley who surely wasn't on the perimeter in a situation like that.

I hate Allen as much as the next guy, but there's enough reasons to hate him already without really stretching it like in this example. I think Allen wanted his team to win just as much as MAAR does.
