Michigan Athletics teasing an announcement for next week

My guess is the apparel announcement.

Every official Michigan sport's twitter account has tweeted out "It's coming....." in the past couple of days.

If that is so and several varsity sports are tweeting out announcements to be released in the same week or so, this truly must have been a spectacular experience for someone. 

I could be wrong, but like others, I have the suspicion that this might not be an apparel announcement. It doesn't mesh with the timeline given for such an announcement, if indeed there is anything to announce on this front. Lots of rumors, but nothing substantive that I've heard.

I think based on these tweets it means nothing apparel related. I thought the general consensus was July 1 or after in terms of any apparel announcement.

Not to mention they say "the Team. The coaches. Real moments. Real Wolverines. Experience Michigan." What of that makes people think it is about Nike? I mean other than that WD thinks everything is about Nike.

I don't know where this notion of me being one of these Nike fanboys came from.

I haven't bought anything Nike since Michigan made the switch and won't again unless Michigan signs with them.

I'd rather Michigan sign with them over the other two, though.

And he takes the slightest mention of anything pertaining to Michigan and turns it into ZOMG NIKE!!!!!  I have no idea how anyone could look at those series of tweets and think "oh, well they are clearing teasing a new apparel contract announcement."

When Michigan picks their next apparel supplier, it'll be a press release and maybe not even that.  Its the type of news the media makes a big deal out of, not the school.

I'm just posting on this apparel thread--a subject I don't care about--to say that I don't know why you guys care about which logo M wears, and that you're wrong to care about this. Have I mentioned that I don't care which brand Michigan wears? I seriously, absolutely don't care! But be prepared for 12 more posts by me attacking you for caring.

Except in this case there's nothing indicating that this should be an apparel thread. The OP was a tweet about a basketball announcement, and I have absolutely no idea why the basketball program would be announcing Hackett's decision on shoe company sponsorships. We also have a new tweet from golf posted above indicating it's some type of video series being announced.

This is the part where I say I do not care, and the ridiculously obvious choice is to take the most money.
