06/14/2018 - 2:49pm This past year I got to know…

This past year I got to know a young man who had a scholarship to play D1 baseball, but also had on average over a dozen major league scouts at his games.  He ended up being drafted in the second round and now has a decision to make.  Go to college or sign a contract and go pro with a possible million dollar signing bonus.

06/14/2018 - 2:47pm The draft experts said he…

The draft experts said he would most likely sign the discussion here was more along the line of how he would look at College vs OHL

yes saw the headline on bleacher report.  Names had not been released but there had been speculation up until now.  Then again these were the first printed names outside of message boards.

03/18/2018 - 10:29pm I counted at least 10 times

I counted at least 10 times the refs pushed Mulkey back off the court.  If it were any other coach except Mulkey or Geno at UConn they would have been ejected.  She is such an arrogant piece of work.  And that goes back to her comments during the Football Rape investigation.

02/27/2018 - 11:08pm Actually he did but in most

Actually he did but in most cases they were back on the job the next day.  Even Jim Harbaugh got his dad fired one time because he was horsing around on the field during practice.

01/21/2018 - 11:03am Actually the super draft

Actually the super draft happend yesterday the previous article talked about his draft potential maybe not OT my bad thre but different article.

01/01/2018 - 3:38pm Biggest question that I have

Biggest question that I have not seen an answer for, where were Hill, and McDoom?  Hill was dressed and on the sidelines.  I am getting a little tired of the "secret society" and lack of information that is coming out of the football program.   That and the offensive play calling was really sad today.

12/17/2017 - 5:21pm Is Rey really a nobody from

Is Rey really a nobody from nowhere or was that Ren trying to convince her of that.  I really think there are a bunch of red herrings in this movie that have everyone thinking that "This is the answer to question X". When in reality the answers will come in the next movie.  Besided even Lucas said that the Skywalker storyline was originally 9 movies.  We have had 8 so far.

12/14/2017 - 9:38pm If they answered the

If they answered the questions in movie #2 then there is not a need for #3.  That is where most of the answers will be provided, however those will not answer all the questions.  Disney is going to pimp this for as much money as they can.

Add to that Sumlin out in College Station

5 SEC teams with new coaches next year and there is 1 constant.

11/25/2017 - 4:34pm Do not forget the holding

Do not forget the holding call on Cole when the DL was going to the ground and he simply fell on him.  That is rule #1 for an OL in pass protect.

Really sad when the TV announcers are calling penalties that were missed and there were at least 3-5 on OSU that were missed.  Not saying that would have made a difference but it is all about when the breaks happen.

11/04/2017 - 11:51am Sorry but Private/Incognito

Sorry but Private/Incognito Browser settings do nothing to hid your history, all they do is hide you from cookie distribution.  Unless you are going through TOR or one of the other browsers that also route through the dark web there is always a history and someone who is good at IT forensics can find the history or whatever is left of it.

09/24/2017 - 11:12am True, Quinn blamed the lack

True, Quinn blamed the lack of depth chart, but my response  to him is  real simple.  Get the roster that is published and they should be at some time be able to see who is punting.  But Fox sent their #3 college team to this game so is it any surprise.

Quinn was good when it came to explaining how plays ended up the way they did, like the first Evans TD run, and the failed Flea-flicker where Bush blew things up, but they seemed like they just were not into working this game.

09/04/2017 - 3:22pm It became obvious that

It became obvious that Magnuson was out of positon at tackle but moving into Guard actually may be his best shot.

09/04/2017 - 3:21pm From what I have heard Godin

From what I have heard Godin was told that the Texans want him back, if he is not picked up on waivers.  They want him to take a year and "redshirt" on IR and see where that goes.   That is common for the Texans to keep a DL that can play multiple spots on the line around.

09/02/2017 - 8:15pm He started the game but then

He started the game but then they went with a 3 man line and played more of a 3-4 press scheme.  Than and Hurst, Gary and Chase were eating the Florida OL for lunch, and not many long drives to need players to swap out.

Take out the last drive by UF and they only had 23 plays in the first half and 27 plays in the second half.   VS UM 38 plays in first half and 43 in the second half

09/02/2017 - 8:07pm Couple of things

Couple of things, first that ineligible reciever penalty was crap, and even everyone in the booth said so, second; I do not know if anyone else noticed that after that first drive of the second half  the pro florida perspective in the booth disappeared, and they realized that Michigan was about to manhandle the boys form Gainsville.

09/02/2017 - 8:04pm Also it allows DB's to play

Also it allows DB's to play man coverage a lot more than most colleges these days and that pays off when you are looking at playing in the NFL....

09/02/2017 - 11:26am It is scored before Florida

It is scored before Florida gets a first down.

08/26/2017 - 9:22pm Live in Katy but spend most

Live in Katy but spend most of today driving in from dropping off eldest kid at her college.  There were bands of rain and then times where it was scarry calm.  Made it but the worst of the rain and flooding is south and west of Houston down towards Victoria and Corpus Christi.  Been through several bad storms this one is probably going to be the worst on total destruction and chaos.

05/07/2017 - 8:39pm And to think there were

And to think there were people who though having the Sierra's and crew graduate would cause this team to take a major step back.  Glad coach Hutch knows how to build depth and keeps bringing in tallent to promote competition within the team.

Look forward to seeing them in the tournaments.

05/06/2017 - 1:41pm True but they do sometimes

True but they do sometimes come up with a "lower body injury" and end up on IR for a year.  They can then spend a year working on strenght and "Rehab" and see how things progress.  Several teams did that last year.

05/06/2017 - 1:39pm Nope but I have a cousin name

Nope but I have a cousin name Barry.

05/06/2017 - 11:15am Smith has 2 things going for

Smith has 2 things going for him.  1) He has been very good in pass blocking and can catch the ball on swing passes and being that outlet in the middle of the field for the QB. 2) He has a forward body lean so when he get tackled he gets another 2 or 3 yards falling forward most times.

05/06/2017 - 10:11am That and they are projecting

That and they are projecting him to win all 3 non conference games, one of which is University of Houston, which despite the turnover still has Power 5 talent on the roster and is good enough to win almost anywhere as they have show.  The thing I find interesting is the comments about recruiting and lack of player development.  Sounds so familiar to what was going on at Michigan during both the RR and Hoke administrations.

BTNgo is so failing right now.  Not even funny 15 miuntes in and the most exciting thing was Marcus Ray admitting he mad a mistake in the opening segment not waiting for the second tease.   Really sad production....

Nope Pullman was the President in Independence Day, Paxton was in Apollo 13  and Aliens , and Predator and Terminator.

01/02/2017 - 2:20pm Thomas took the deep slant

Thomas took the deep slant that was underneath and Lewis bailed on coverage of the 9 route that was being run... Mistakes by both but Thomas not getting over the top of the 9 route that was the killer and why Brown was on him.  Both the 9 and slant were on the left side of the field so it was tough call but the correct play is for Thomas to keep dropping and play the ball not the routes...

01/01/2017 - 6:22pm If Newsome is healthy

IF healthy I see the OL as Newsome - Onwenu - Cole - Spanellis - Bredeson

If not then Bredeson - Onwenu - Cole - Spanellis - Bushell-Beatty

01/01/2017 - 6:11pm Another young man who came in

Another young man who came in with a lot of promise and because of 2 years of Hoke and non coaching never was able to take things to the next level.  The only kids I see in the O-Line that have improved are those that were never coached by Hoke and crew.  Really sad that was our downfall,  Harbaugh has been getting the most out of all of Hoke's prized OL recruits but it was never enough.  Let's hope we see better play and fewer blown assignments next year.

Glad he got his degree and good luck in the future.

12/11/2016 - 4:19pm In answer to your question,

In answer to your question, all you need to do is look at the old Southwest conference.  Every school that got busted all the way up to SMU was turned in by another program.  The reason most teams stay quiet is because of the witch hunt that will end up on their own front door if it is found out that you busted the other team.  Most coaches just hope things like what happened with JT and OSU and UNC's football team happen, and eventually  they get busted because someone from inside screws up.

12/11/2016 - 10:56am There is one other way to

There is one other way to look at the term ditry.  That is when coach A goes into the home of Johnny Hotshot Recruit and talks up his program and is open about playing time and what he sees as this kids furture, both academics and athletics.  Then coach B goes in and stars to do the same thing and the when he has the players attention he starts to tell stories about the "problems" with Coach A and that he is on the hot seat, or other crap that while not all the time true but sometimes enough to change the view of the kid or parent enough to not want to go to that school.

It is one thing to talk up your program, and claim that you can provide the best for this kid but there are coaches out there who feel it is necessary to talk shit about everyone else as well when they feel threatened.  That is also a dirty coach.  Those sort of coaches are a lot more common than those with bags of cash and car keys.

11/06/2016 - 8:02pm I did find it funny that

I did find it funny that Kanell basically before this last game called the blowout and even said by more than 30 when it was all over.  Joey looked at him like he was crazy but post game Danny was just laughing about being correct.

11/06/2016 - 7:51pm I wil give him credit, he is

I wil give him credit, he is not afraid to speak his mind.  He has been honest about UM needing to prove they deserve the early season high rankings.  Also to the point that CU and PSU may be better now than when we played  them my answer is one that he made about OSU's strenght of sched,  You can only control what a team is like when you play them.  What they do after you play them can make you look good or bad but only based upon your result against them. "  That is so true of UM right now.  The other big comment about our schedule is that we have "only left the state of Michigan one time and that was to abuse a very bad Rutgers team.  How will they handle Iowa?"  Well at the begining of the year Iowa looked like our 3rd or at worst 4th toughest opponent.  Now I would put them behind OSU, Wisconsin, Colorado, and maybe even Sparty (simply because it is a rivalry game).  Even PSU with no LB's looks better that what I am seeing out of Iowa these days...
