Not sure what service you are using, but there are only so many 5 stars and they don't all pan out, so I'm quit happy with top 50 - 100 football players. I'm not saying you aren't but don't get to caught up in the 5 star thing.

I could see Cole moved to guard if he comes back. That would open the Center competition up for Ruiz and Kugler.

I doubt Ruiz starts as a true frosh. But Cole could flip back out to tackle if need be. Ruiz not playing as a frosh is not entirely dependent on Cole being back or not.

He may play if Cole is back. There are a lot of variables in the line because of versatility. There are a lot of guys who can play guard/center on this team now. We're going to need another stud tackle though.

Someone said they could move Cole back out to tackle again if they had to. That's his experienced position I think anyway. Except when Joey Bosa is on the field.

I don't get some folks think the commitment announcement stuff is going over the top. I think it's really entertaining and probably a blast for the kids.

At the time of you posting this, not a single person has said a bad thing about this video, so I am curious of where you are getting this from. It has been the opposite reaction, everybody enjoys these a lot more than the hat game.

Not in this thread, speaking more broadly. More than a few people in the last few weeks had voiced opinions on being tired of the announcements. Although, very possible the spike of that talk was due to the Wilson pug incident.

the video was a fine replacement though. that took some creativity and planning. but, the center (and OL in general) is usually the smartest guy on the team so that figures.

Phew. Was admittedly bummed when I picked my phone up around 11:45-12 and I didn't see a Hello notification. I thought "not again....."
But great to have him aboard. Having a guy who knows the center position coming in will be HUGE. And having a guy who knows the position, who also happens to be coming from one of the best HS football programs in the South certainly helps.

Ruiz was a lock. I don't know many credible sources who said Wilson was. We were leading the whole way was the way I saw it described but not a lock for him.
