Harbaugh's Lef…

The study actually came out a few weeks ago and while it shows the demograpic breakdowns on those who were a part of it, it doesn't show the percentages of who are in favor of legalization but I don't disagree with you at all in terms of the age gap in it.

The percentage of those in favor of legalization keeps growing everytime a study is done though so the gap is widening and I think that the "case study" put on in Colorado is moving people towards widening that gap even further. Even just the tax income windfall for the state is enough for more States to put it on their ballots.

EDIT: The more I think about it, I don't think there is much of a difference between ages or income but moreso of what political party you closer identify with.

I DO miss getting high.  I miss the sound of music when high (always awesome), the taste of food when high (also awesome just never enough of it) and  I miss jokes when high cause everything and everybody is hillarious.  And i miss sex when high.

To be clear sex is always awesome but  if memory serives it's especially awesome when high.

I smoked a TON of pot from 1975-1981 but I think the last time I got stoned was about 15-20 years ago.

Part owner of a company that produces a medical device surgeons use and we support the cases intra-operatively.  Random drug testing is in place for everyone (me included) and if somebody comes up dirty they lose their credentialling and access to the OR.

Not worth it so I'll just reminisce and take shit from you guys for being a pussy.

An employed pussy but a pussy none-the-less.

About five years ago they ordered up random suprise on the spot drug testing for an entire facility out of state. The results were they had to fire about forty percent of their staff the next day according to company policy.

The gap in production while they tried to restaff and train the facility almost sunk the entire company.

The new current drug testing policy now excludes marijuana from the panel company wide.

I am a company owner and my policy is this: Do whatever you want at home. It is none of my business as long as it doesn't affect your work. Don't bring that part of life to work with you and in return I will never drug test anyone. Never had an issue yet (knock on wood). The most successful people around me smoke (including doctors, professors, bankers, engineers, other business owners, etc) or drink or have some other vice. None of us are immune and the people who are usually most comfortable in their own skin aren't that concerned about such things. To each his own.

... every day is 4/20, and it is glorious. My alcohol consumption has gone way down, I feel healthier from it, and it is SO MUCH cheaper to occassionally use one of many forms of weed available than it is to even have a few drinks.

It, you are still putting a narcotic into your body.

Hey, I'm all for it if you enjoy it, but don't try and sell it as some super healthy thing to do like you are inhaling a chicken breast with green beans.

... I buy a case of mints (one example of an edible) that has 30 mints for $35. 1 mint is all you need for a nice long slow buzz that last 5-6 hours. That's ~$.20 per hour of buzz. Not going to get that through alcohol in an enjoyable fashion.

The math is similar for other forms as well -- including concentrated or joints. And when it's legal, the quality is abundant. I can get a grade A joint that would be good enough for a group of 4-6 people to be delightfully stoned for an evening for $10-15. I've given up the days of drinking  Mad Dog, so not going to be able to beat that price.
