All the Lion hating is really lame. Are they the Patriots? No. But they've been an average team over the last 5 years. There are worse places he could have ended up, and only a few that are measurably better.

Exactly. What does this draft look like for Michigan with Butt, Lewis, and Wormley in there. Not to mention Ojemudia (if he hadn't been hurt) would probably be drafted as well. It's not reaching OSU level, but it's rare for any team to have a draft like that and really speaks to the mass exodus that happened at osu this year.

The first Wolverine drafted by the Lions since Jeff Backus in 2001.

Glasgow is the 30th Wolverine to be drafted by Detroit, who has drafted more Wolverines than any other NFL franchise. Packers are second with 27.

The last 10 Wolverines drafted by the Lions are Jeff Backus (2001), Garland Rivers (1987), Rick Strenger (1983), Andy Cannavino (1981), Dwight Hicks (1978), Steve Strinko (1975), Dennis Franklin (1975), Pete Newell (1971), Bob Brown (1962) and Todd Grant (1962).

Been driving all night. Did Cook even get drafted yet? I thought there was no way the guy slides past the 3rd round.

Must've really rubbed a lot off Lis the wrong way if Hackenberg gets drafted before he did.

Good for Graham, he can start at center, and both guard positions this season. One of those spots is his for the taking. He's better than Swanson today, and can steady the revolving door flag machine at RG. Maybe Decker can replace Reif on the left so Glasgow doesn't have to smell him all game?

Yeah, tackle, oops... But didn't Warford have some issues last year other than injury, as well? I swear the entire right side has been an issue for four of the last five years. Nonetheless, Glasgow can replace either guard position, and center. Great pick for Detroit for depth and versatility, if nothing else.

The NFL Draft threads are a place where all of us can be happy or sad regardless of team affiliation, and I am happy to see a Wolverine drafted and happy to see that he will be only travelling up the road to Allen Park to report to practice this summer. Congratulations to Graham.

Let's remember that at least most of us are united in our hatred of Roger Goodell and run with that.
