It's finally Friday - I will say, standing in for another supervisor and your own manager leads to some rather interesting moments throughout the day, but fortunately, there are only eight more hours until I can enjoy a nice reset before a short week next week. Wow, that's a dose of perspective.
I'm 47 and worrying about what happens to my family if I kick it (even though I have some life insurance) has me eating raw fruit and veggies for lunch after years of eating whatever I wanted.

Closed on a home yesterday (it's been a really rough go -- and had to walk away from a property during the process)... the most beautiful in the woman in the world, who I have definitely out kicked my punt coverage on, arranged a surprise celebration for the two of us (perhaps one day it will be her house too)!

Today's off to a great start!
Last day of work till the 7th of July, My 28th Wedding anniversary is this Saturday as well as my Nephew's Graduation Party This fall he'll be attending the University of Michigan at Dearborn on a full ride scholarship.
On Sunday, we'll be heading down to South Carolina to spend a couple of days with my sisters in Clemson and from there going out to Charleston. We're going to lay some flowers at the Emanuel Church, then head over to Patriot's Point and Fort Sumter. It should be an enlightening time for all.
