Not exactly. We are "wired" with one primary, overarching and all-encompassing objective: to spread our genetic material as far and wide as possible via procreation. While we seek an "optimal mate" for that activity, most often that is not a tall, stick thin model-type. Rather, a woman who is a bit wider in the hips, thick in the middle, and with an ample bosom is better suited to procreation than a tall skinny woman! :-D

I can appreciate most body types, but fat is gross.  And I'm pretty sure my reaction to it is genetic, as my reaction is rather visceral when presented with it.  My basic rule is that a woman needs to weigh at least 20% less than I do given the same height, and that would still be pushing it.

5'2" and 115 is just about perfect.

But if fomo likes fat chicks, more power to him.  By all means, enjoy.

My post was mostly sarcastic, but alas...

Find a show online called "The Human Animal" by Desmond Morris. Really interesting stuff on what really attracts us in a mate. Healthy, symmetry in physical and facial features, reproductive ability, etc., are all up there. And you find out why when women wear bright red lipstick on a date, you should be very happy... :-)

Um, in the series finale, they were put on trial for failing to uphold a Good Samaritan's law. If you recall the context, it was a fat guy getting robbed who they did not help. Instead, Kramer videotaped it, while Jerry, George and Elaine make jokes: (A carjacking takes place in front of the group) ROBBER: Alright fatso, out of the car. KRAMER: I want to capture this. ROBBER: Come on! Gimme your wallet. VOGEL: Don't shoot. JERRY: Well, there goes the money for the lipo. ELAINE: See, the great thing about robbing a fat guy is it's an easy getaway. You know? They can't really chase ya! GEORGE: He's actually doing him a favor. It's less money for him to buy food.

He could go to a consistently good-elite Oklahoma program that was most recently winning a playoff game at halftime, or he could go to a trainwreck Texas program that hasn't produced very many NFL players recently. Seems like an obvious decision to me.

I wonder if the Oklahoma blogs are going crazy and saying that Daniels has no integrity!  He committed to the program, now just 2 short weeks before NSD, he has opened up his recruitment.  Oklahoma now has to "scramble" to find a suitable replacement as they were probably led to believe that he was excited about being a sooner.   Is anyone crying for them?

I do feel bad for Swenson. He seems like a nice kid who will survive and thrive in the world. But i've never been recruited so I don't know what goes on in living rooms across the country everyday.

One is a huge, powerful public institution with thousands of employees and gigantic revenues; the other is a high school student. The insitution has lots of other options and does just fine even if this negotiation is a total failure; the high school student's entire future may well depend on the outcome of the negotiation.
