Brian Griese Hurts For Michigan's Players...

Submitted by bluestaffah on

Nick Baumgardner at Mlive penned an article about Brian Griese and his take on the current situation. Link is here.

I don't normally read the comments below articles, especially when reading political ones because so many of the comments make you wonder how so many can waste a brain. However I found this one below and it made me grin. "Those who stay..."

CommieHigh86 10 minutes ago @KeithKZ That WOULD be the Spartan way to handle things -- like Max Bullough -- to selfishly abandon your team when they need you most. So I'm not surprised to see you suggest this. But at Michigan, "those who stay will be champions." #Go Blue!

How hard is it going to be for all the guys that were doing nothing to support the program during the RR era to admit that their Michigan Man that could do no wrong has done a ton of wrong?

Well maybe Griese should keep quiet, or even repent...since he was a conspirator of sorts, at the golf outing where Brandon drummed up support for Hoke, to boot RichRod. I find it offensively hypocritical that he is criticizing Hoke here.

I feel bad for the players. They commited to Michigan to win championships and all they got was clap clap clap

Haven't seen this elsewhere, from comment section:
I know it wont happen but I would love to see Atlanta head coach Mike Smith on the Michigan sideline next season.Players love the guy I think he has the personality to be a hell of a recruiter and he doesnt take any $%^& from any one including an AD.I dont think there is anyway Atlanta brings him back next season.
Smith et alia really brought the Falcons alive for a few years after the Vick/Petrino debacle; I haven't stayed clued in so I have no idea what happened since.

Carroll did not fail in the NFL. He was let go after an 8-8 season.

Saban and Spurrier? Come on. You're not seriously comparing guys that won national titles in college before they went to the NFL to Mike Smith are you?

Saban also left because the GM was a moron and signed Dante Caulpepper and not Drew Brees.

Do Bill Callahan, Mike Sherman, and Lane Kiffin not ring a bell?

I don't really get the point of that comment.  How did Bullough abandon his team? He got suspended for a being a dumbass but I don't think he was doing it to screw over his teammates and his Spartan legacy.  The Bulloughs are a big MSU family and he had a chance to be part of one of the more special MSU seasons in recent memory.  I just don't get how it makes sense, especially consdering our kicker's "family issue" that got him kicked off the team before the bowl, Stonum's DUI problems that got him kicked out, Cissoko's insanity, etc.

I feel bad for myself, all my Michigan fan friends here in Lansing and all the Players!!! I despise Sparty sooooo much and I'm tired of hearing and seeing Sparty fans rip Michigan to shreds 24/7. Does anybody else in the Lansing area put up with this crap like I do? I went to Meijer before our tailgate last Saturday against State and I had Spartan fans laughing at me and starring me down. I was thinking of throwing each and every one of them into an end cap or middle of the aisle sale stand

And you can work out your frustration over the coach search drama as the basketball team redeems fallen pride on the court. That will never end, we're gonna have a good team for a long time.

Either that or you could shop elsewhere or move. It's hard for me, I married a Sparty.
