Bleacher report has improved and hired professional writers, sorta.  I don't ever trust BR, but the logic being used here is pretty solid.

Nobody knows what's going to happen anyway; I'm just glad that someone who isn't a Michigan fan thinks enough of them to rate them as a playoff team.

For those who didn't click, here are the top 4:

1. Notre Dame

2. Michigan

3. Oklahoma

4. Tennessee

I don't think any of these teams make it.

For those who want to avoid clicking:

Michigan loses to Tennessee in the title game.

Oklahoma State and ND make up the other two playoff teams.

There is no meaningful analysis. Don't even bother

I don't know that it was codified, but there was a time when linking to BR at MGoBlog was deeply frowned upon, leading to deleted threads, downvotes, etc. BR articles like this are why I rarely, rarely, rarely go to BR. I didn't take the click bait, but the thought that Michigan would be in the title game is ludicrous. I don't want that koolaid and don't know why that would get any publicity.

Well our rushing was about 6th in the nation last year. About middle of the pack nationally. I think we get to about 40 this year. The spring game had a bunch of guys on the OL who won't play at all this year.

All the Tennessee fans are freaking out saying they're going to the big one! Haha, I'm excited we were mentioned but we are at least another year out from being contenders. Tennessee fans are fucking crazy. Trust me I live in North Alabama.

I guess this was written before the spring game.

I think we can be much better, but I think it's going to take a while for Harbaugh to work his magic.

Then again, Hoke (or Mattison) turned over our defense overnight...maybe Harbaugh can do the same for our offense?

It's not crazy to predict we have one of top defenses, if not THE top defense in the country this year. The receivers, however, could play better.. A couple dropped some difficult passes this weekend, no big deal. The entire WR/TE corps dropping (or tipping) all those really really easy passes, however, could hurt our playoff chances this fall.

Michigan would go 43-0 in bowl games next season. After going undefeted and wiinning the B1G tournament, that's 56-0.

60-0 if you throw in beaing the Lions on Thanksgiving, the win against the Harlem Globetrotters, JH's guilty verdict against Urban on Judge Judy, and dominating the Betty Crocker cookoff.

It's gonna be a big year.

LOL, is that supposed to be a comedy piece??  I don't see us making the playoffs anytime soon.  Or the rest of those teams.

was the chuckle I got at the 410ib Baylor TE article that followed.

(He happened to debut as a TE w/ a TD against Michigan State in the Cotton Bowl.)

I suppose a more accurate title for the original article would be "Four Sleepers Who Could Surprise":  In the playoff?  THat's just clickbait.

Wait a minute...we make it to the championship game, after being a 2-seed no less, and then lose to Tenne-fuckin-see?  Boooooo.

But you gotta love that writer's maize-n-blue balls.
