Anyone else hear that Brady Hoke just became the Coach at Tennessee?

Supposedly Butch is out and Brady is in?

OP should be sanctioned. I'd like to encourage these interesting observations. To a point. Of course a brief personal transcription/summary along with identification of the radio station call sign, live personalities, etc. can improve legitimacy in terms of maintaining credibility going forward.

My UGA buddy told me today that he heard this...that's as close to a confirmation as I can provide...which is to say, it's just a rumor that could easily come to fruition this year.

Brady Hoke is kind of your ideal interim; good-natured guy everyone likes with head coaching experience who is also no threat to cause a hubbub trying to get the job long-term.

Would make sense and has been suggested at least since Saturday.

Yeah, I think its not so much a matter of if Hoke gets the interim job, but when.  Butch is all but done at this point, and Hoke is as good of an interim candidate as you're gonna find on that staff.

So whether its this week or next, we're looking at a future with Brady Hoke, interim head football coach Univ. Tennessee.

The world is a crazy place.

Yes. This rumor can't be true right now, because if you really have to fire a guy midseason you have it over with by Sunday so that the team can prepare for the next game. But Hoke is a guy with big-time HC experience that is not a candidate for the permanent job, so there's no offense and no question when Tennessee interviews other guys before the end of the season. Even if Hoke wins some games he's not a candidate.

So he's perfect.

If Brady Hoke ever gets a head coaching gig again - I wish him the best of luck.  He didn't work out well here, but I have no animosity for him as he loved Michigan and tried his best.
