Alternatives to Mden football Jerseys?
Hi, so I tried to buy a Harbaugh #4 Jersey from Mden and they say they don't do that kind of thing. Which is weird since they have Peppers, Brady, and Woodson. But ok. Does anyone know of a good alternative web site where I can buy a #4 Blue Michigan jersey with Harbaugh written on the back?

Each of those 3 former players have deals with Nike to make those jerseys so they get a cut. Harbaugh would have to sign off on such a thing.
If you see people with them around the stadium, they're fakes from China.
MDen refuses to do custom jersey orders for former players in addition to the NCAA-mandated no current players rule. They say they do it out of respect for the players.
I haven't ever tried to do a custom jersey on Fanatics or any other site but the descriptions on their site only say they can't current players.

The difference is these are noticeably lower quality and they don't care about NCAA rules. I have one, it was worth the $25 I paid for it.

Must be the buyer you got yours from... I have purchased one's for my son, and they are darn near perfect... put them up against other "real" jerseys... can't find the difference. All stitched, all with Nike/NFL logos/patches, tags...

Lol yep. Kind of different but I got a Zetterberg winter classic jersey that was a "fake" from China. Except it had all the tags on it like it was legit when it got here and looks basically indistinguishable from the "legit" ones.

Same... I have bought my son jerseys via this way... ALL stitched, with Nike/NFL logos, etc... put them up against 'real' ones... can't tell a difference, if there are any.

The computer blacklists combinations of former or current players with their numbers. I could get a #4 Harbs or a #5 Harbaugh, but not a #4 Harbaugh. Only players with Nike deals seem to be whitelisted.
So like, why doesn't Harbaugh have a Nike deal for this???

It's not just Nike. It's the University, through MDen, ensuring students cannot sell or profit off their likeness per NCAA guidelines.

A few years ago I had a Kalis jersey made for my daughter. Forget the site, but I put a space between each letter and it went through. Normal spacing did not.

It was when he was a freshman and was the first player my daughter ever met. He signed a picture of them the next year and signed it “Love, Kyle Kalis” a very storied love affair that I have shared on here many times before.

This is the most correct answer, and lots of places will sew/embroider/screen print a name on the back of a jersey.
TECHNICALLY MDen cannot (and cannot sanction such) due to the NCAA.
That said, if you want something accurate, go to eBay, not MDen.
Harbaugh's Nike jersey when he played here did not have a Jumpman.

I’m not sure I’ve ever seen wolverine devotee corrected when it comes to accuracy of something involving jerseys/brand/gear. I have to applaud you and your knowledge since he seems to know just about everything in that regard.

Oh my gosh I remember I was sleeping with this ohio st grad and of course after doing the deed we talked football... I showed her a highlight tape of McGuffie while we were still butt nekked... If you order it with another letter at the beginning and end of Harbaugh (iHarbaughi), you could probably peel those letter off and have the name still centered. It would be a bit of a pain, but might work. If it doesn't work, you're out a good amount of cash though.
