Harbaugh: Two players have left

Submitted by Wolverine Devotee on

Harbaugh said today Michigan is under its 85 scholarship limit. Asked if anyone has left. He said two have but ‘I’ll let them announce that if they want to.’

Harbaugh says he hasn’t named an OC yet. Hasn’t decided if he will or won’t. Staff will go through more self scout this week and next.

But people guess on here all the time. People criticize others (players and posters) on this blog from the beginning.

It's the nature of the game and message boards.

It is a bit silly to tell others not to guess when WE KNOW this was coming and we have had an inkling of who those people might be.

Attrition happens.

And as always, those who leave the program have no ill will from me. I always hope they find success and happiness in their future endeavors.

Yeah I agree.
I mean hypothetically saying something like, "oh it might be player X, I heard he has bad grades" then it turns out not to be that person and maybe he doesn't even have bad grades but now that's out there.

No ones doing that here though, and attrition at this point is likely all depth chart related. Not sure why I'm defending someone else's post lol... carry on

That really doesn't mesh with speculating that someone might go, though. First of all, I see very little on this board dumping on guys in that way, even when there are apparent issues behind the scenes. Second of all, if someone speculates a guy is transferring, it is far more likely because of visible situations--playing time, benchings, and such. There's one guy whose number changed this spring who I think many of us expect to transfer. And the reason has nothing to do with any assumptions about his character--we just combine what we saw last year with what we know about his (loaded) position on the roster and the chatter (or lack thereof) we heard in spring. If it happens I won't blame the guy a bit, and I think he'll be better off elsewhere due to the roster here. Most, I suspect, feel the same way.

I think Greg Frey is given too much credit for the offense when he was at Indiana, and Kevin Wilson is not given enough. After all look at the tackles at Michigan last year, and look at Kevin Wilson's success at Ohio St.

If it's JBB, I think that might portend some good news, perhaps about Hudson.

I could see some WRs calling it quits, though. Crawford, McDoom.

I really hope Walker sticks around. He'll have a legit shot next year.

Lol JBB is possibly the starter. He was the starter at the end of spring. He probably can't play somewhere else this year anyway. Some people have some insane ideas on here. And even if you want Hudson to start, losing JBB would be really awful for our depth.
