Can't disagree with that lineup, exactly--pretty obvious development--but I wonder how the team evolves through the offseason. I would like one of Matthew or Livers to evolve into a guy that can hit at least upper-30s from 3; if one of them doesn't, there might be a quick hook to stabilize the offense.

Because that lineup will lock down on D, but has only one reliable shooter from distance right now.

I won’t go that far Rahk and Mo were multi-year starters so there impact will leave a void that needs to be filled. Neither Poole or Teske has played the amount of minutes on this level that they will be asked to do in ‘18-‘19. That will take some time getting adjusted to for both of them. Mo’s fire, nastiness and talent(was a huge matchup problem for opposing defenses) sparked this team at times last year. Who will have that same impact on this squad? I think they can be good but unless someone takes that huge leap up next year I don’t know if they will accomplish what last year’s team did.

Phew. Really exited for this team next year. Zavier, Poole, Livers, Matthews, & Teske make a pretty darn good lineup to start the season, plus Michigan has all the talented incoming freshman. Go Blue!!

Great decision. Work on your 3 pointer free throws and most importantly ball handling! It’s gonna be a fun basketball season

He'll be a first round pick next year most likely.  This is a good financial decision for him.  Get's a year to hone the skills and more than make up for what he would have made this year.

I think highly of C. Matt and his skill set but next years freshman class is talented plus players like Johntay Porter, Kris Wilkes, Hachimura & Jaylen Hands were thought to be mid-late first round picks this year. So he might not get into that first round, but that’s cool because and early second round selection is somewhat better. He can get into a second contract quicker and hit the open market faster.

I love both Muhammad and Duncan but we are replacing them with elite talent. Only issue is Wagner. Teske Davis and the freshman will be key to replace him

he's an elite defender so not nearly as good as Wagner on offense but a near equivalent upgrade on defense.

Agree that the backup minutes going to Davis from Teske will be a downgrade.  Will be interesting to see how much of a downgrade (and whether Castleton or Johns are able to contribute at the 5).

Huge!! With losing Rahk, Mo, and Duncan... Let’s see how these freshmen contribute from the get go!

Goblue16 is a professor of sorts at all sports! He even knows when Harbaugh is getting fired. Please try and ignore his negativity it’s a constant around these parts! Yay he stayed. But your ball handling skills ain’t sh!@!!!!

I watched more UM basketball last year than I had in a long time. That being said, and I hate being critical of the mgoblog nation, but I believe his legal name is Charles Matthews Transfer From Kentucky. We should show him the respect he deserves ;)

Well, this raises hopes for the upcoming season, and they were already fairly high, I think.

Good news indeed. I guess I'll drink to that when I am home.....oh, wait, I am home. *drinks*
