Notre Dame

I am starting to feel confident and bullish about our chances to go into South Bend and leave with a W. When we do, we are going to put the whole college football world on notice. So, why am I confident? Well:

1. Joe Milton. All the good news coming out of camp on Milton is getting me excited. He is pushing all the quarterbacks and putting them on notice. If he is that good, put him in the game, we need to win NOW.

2. Wariner. The offensive line will be better. It has to be better. This is going to be a book for our running backs, which will alleviates pressure on the QB. Running backs improving will benefit our wide receivers. This 2018 offense might be the best we have seen in the last 10 years.

3. Don Brown. He will help our offense improve by showing them the different looks and varieties of defense we will face this season. Steel sharpens steel and nothing is quite as sharp as our defense.

Wolverines are hungry and we are going to feast! this season.

Wimbush is not a good qb. A 49% completion rate going against the best pass defense in the country from last year. Force Notre Dame into obvious passing downs and michigan will win by 10+. Their defense is good but nothing special. Their leading sack leader returning had 4.5 sacks.

A mess! The other day we had a Joe Milton attack force come to the board and guess what? They’re bakkkkkkkkkkk! If optimism is to Michigan fan then doom is that much more of a Michigan fan per this post. There’s nothing worse than a BS post that refers to beating ND and to top it off a bashing on top of the cake! This ish is Pitiful. Put Cade in!!!

Sam Webb is the ONLY person saying Milton should play this year and it was in terms of a package like what Jabrill had. Which wont happen. Milton had a great spring and hopefully a very bright future, but pump your brakes on him playing this year. Remember Sam Webb - as good as he is as an insider, is not a scout.

If he's improving that's great but that has more to do with the future not next season. There's no way the coaching staff is gonna burn a redshirt and waste a year of eligibility as a true freshman when they have Patterson, Peters and McCaffrey already up to speed on the playbook and the roster.

No disrespect to Joe Milton, but if he is our Day 1 starter, then it had better mean it’s because he’s the next coming of Jameis Winston or Cam Newton and somehow fixed all of his mechanical issues in the span of one offseason.

Because otherwise it means that our QB is in an extremely sorry, pathetic state.

Don't eat the rotten cheese.

2015: O'Korn

2016: Peters

2017: McCaffrey

2018: Milton

47% completion percentage against high school competition.

Yeah, he should start immediately against ND.  We should easily win the national championship with him at QB.

We aren't losing this game. All of our QBs are going to be fire. Patterson is going to be good. We are going to push d lines back off the line of scrimmage. The offense might be better than the defense by the end of the season.

Everyone here thinks we're going to win the opener. Your post is just stupid. There will be what, 40+ kids who play in that game? And you chose a redshirting freshman as the number one reason you think we will win??? Come on man, just admit you made a stupid post and move on.

Please delete this fluff piece bs. Way to early for this nonsense. The first two observations are just wishful thinking at this point and unfounded . The third point....Don Brown......he's a dude! His D will be as advertised no question. lets just tap on the brakes. Maybe next time the OP has an unexpected football erection in the offseason he should just go rub one out and not post such jibberish.

I think it was said that a failure if last season wasn't preparing the team for defenses they would see in the league, such as MSUs. It was said that this would be a focus for the team.
