TGIF POSBANG - Selection Sunday Edition!
Hey! If you can't make fun of yourself, who can you?
State fans, that's who!
And so begins the last day of a job where I am literally paid to not work. The contract was cancelled, but had been funded through 15 Mar, so we were told to not work. Just come in, look for something new, and go home. I found something new the same day we were shuttered, so I've been doing nothing at work for 4 weeks. I'm kind of used to it at this point! Lots of days spent at home - getting paid to do nothing at home is the same as getting paid to do nothing at work. I've rather enjoyed these last few weeks...
Alas, back to real work on Monday... But BANG ME NOW for a great 4 weeks!!!
I think we all should be ready to pop some corks on Sunday.
I am not a season ticket holder but know plenty who are. Noon game on Thursday or Friday at the LCA might be be ripe for a resale for someone who wants to play hooky like me.
We'll find something to freak out over no matter what
So true.
"The MVP trophy is not big enough."
Sweet leather chairs.
I love the celebration. But I hated, hated, HATED how they made us wait. One of the last teams announced in the final bracket.
Much less stress this sunday.
Bang with some swagger!! Poole style........
It's Friday of a week in which I had a big basketball smile.
Daylight saving time, Selection Sunday, bracket sheets, this is truly the most wonderful time of the year! Go ahead Beilein, take these next six games.
for a month...working..not vacationing..I was bummed because I figured I wouldnt be able to watch on TV any of our tournament games BUT lo and behold this resort has CBS TBS TNT and a sports bar in case their on True TV so Im Stoked..
GO BLUE
I saw Trey Burke hit the "Trey" against Kansas in Playa del Carmen.
Our resort - Azul Fives - did not have CBS, TBS, et al.
So I had to wander the streets of Playa del Carmen looking for a bar with the game on.
I found one, on the main drag near the Burger King, I forget the name of it.
It did not look like very many people were paying attention to an American college sporting event . . . but when he hit the three there were shouts all up and down the street.
More people were watching than I thought.
awesome!...I calculated the room rate if I had to pay it which I dont but its around 40K!
andd its all inclusive...I will be here the entire tournament but I am READY!!!!!! PLEASE give us DETROIT!!!
I will be in Vegas for the Final Four - hoping Michigan is still playing - will be sporting Michigan gear all up and down the strip and placing a nice bit of money on their championship run.
GO BLUE
Because...no matter where they put us,
WE ARE GOING ALL THE WAY!!!
day to be a Michigan fan; GO BLUE!
OT, but just wanted to pass along that Zach Werenski has scored in three straight games for the Blue Jackets and has now set their franchise record for defenseman goals in a single season. And he's only 20.
Here's the record breaker from Tuesday...
...and a Power Play laser beam last night...
Just keep loose until Thursday or Friday...
...and then it's time to crush fools!
Go Blue!! Bang me softly
Let's get this day going with a bang!
That is all
instant message is set to "In a meeting", UM basketball uniform is on, MgoBlog gifs are going non-stop, top is popped, Friday has begun!
I may need a new job by the end of the day.

ESPN has us in the East, as a third seed, going against Bucknell in Round 1 (yes, that will always be called Round 1 in my book, damnit), with a potential rematch vs. Texas in Round 2 -- if Texas should get by Houston, which will be no easy task...and then, a Duke matchup looming thereafter...
Back to Round 2 for a second, tho. Michigan v. Houston would be a very intriguing matchup. I've seen a little of Houston this season, and they are no joke.
Happy Selection Sunday MGoBloggers ! Better late than never. Guessing 3 seed which would not be too shabby. Bang, bang !!
from me. I always check back in later to hit the stragglers with more important things going on.
I've come to expect it from a Beilein team. Also nice to have the hockey team on the rise.
Michael Smith now reported off of SC.
Thank the higher powers human beings worship that the work week is over. We had to terminate a young lad this past week which led to a 66 hour work week for me. On to Nashville I guess go blue
