That's what I'm saying. But he played well at Wisconsin. Now again he never played great but good at times. So I'm saying comparing his other starts to today. Patterson transferred and you hear the fan base excited about Patterson and not peters he went out to prove something and failed. He said he didn't care about the transfer which I didn't buy and I think it showed with his play today he does care. He didn't play like he did before

JH rode Andrew Luck to success at Stanford.  He is still a great coach and I prefer he stay, but Drevno and Pep need to go.  He needs to find the Brown counterpoint at OC much like Ped State did with their OC (now departed).

I am starting to think Jim might just be the opposite of Saban. Great in nfl but not good in college. He might be good at designing schemes where nfl athletes can execute but so far he has not done shit development wise with the younger guys in college. I hope i am wrong but it is looking more and more that way

To ignore his results at Stanford, and San Diego. I agree our schemes seem too complicated for some of these kids. Doesn't mean he can't coach college players. He needs to make some adjustments, like he did with his Colin Kaepernick led offense.

Like i said i hope i am wrong but i am starting to think Andrew Luck made Harbaugh not the other way around. The fact that Shaw is still carrying the success shows me he was a huge part of Stanford success. In NFL Jim might be great but in college so far he hasnt shown any offense development or mold a proper QB.

I was saying this in our group text all game: I don't understand why we need Drevno AND Pep Hamilton with Jim Harbaugh as our head coach after seeing this year's results. Yes, I know the trio "worked" when the third head was Fisch. Pep should *theoretically* be better, but the results speak for themselves. If we need an offensive specialist, it's a coach who can get more out of the OL (apparently not Frey?) or more importantly the WRs. Both units have had incredibly awakward technique all year. They don't know where to put/position their hands. Even trotting out Freshmen, they should be able to do that?

I need better offensive coaches. Just give Fisch the OC job, the whole job, get a dedicated OL coach (if Frey leaves) and a dedicated WR coach. Enough is enough, they should be better period. They need to overachieve next year and go 9-3/10-2 and beat a rival or two. We can't constantly lose to every team that's favored over us and then blow a game against a USC/MSU team. We need to get some upsets and finally overachieve.

Let's be realistic; it is the Athetic Department culture. Old story:"money can't buy me love", "money can't buy M football wins". Too much money and facilities won't replace hard work and dedication. How long would Bo last in the current atmosphere?

"Just didn't execute." "Need to get better." "Losing is like moldy oatmeal." "Meritocracy killed the cat." "Rolled the balls out and got out-competed." "They wanted it like a stray cat wants a sewer rat." There, saved you the trouble of having to listen to the nonsense.

Here's what I want JH to say:

"Starting immediately I will no loonger podcast. I will no longer tweet. I will no longer appear on sports talk radio. I will do no more book deals. I will do no more motivational speaking. I will quit being a celebrity and devote my attention -- occupationally -- on being a football coach. I have noticed this approach seems to work fairly well for the coaches at our rival schools."

Let's face it, Michigan played like the 4th place team in the B1G East today.  They played like their standing.  On top of that they were probably the 5th best team in the B1G overall.  Next year should be better as a young team gets better.  MSU will also be improving and next year will tell a lot.  Expecting Michigan to sweep through the B1G is probably setting us up for disappointment, but we should also expect them to be in the hunt.

I really believe Pep is the #1 problem. #2 is Harbaugh going into a shell with the lead in the 2nd half of big games. It’s predictable. You know they’re never going to pull away. Other big programs go for the kill. Michigan will start trying to run out the clock in the 3rd quarter. They did that last year against Iowa and it’s continued in every close game since. They keep getting out-coached and out-adjusted in the 2nd half by any team worth a damn.

why university's have an athletic director. Warde Manuel will meet with Harbaugh and have areas for improvement for the football program be identified since results indicate this is needed. Carr did this with offensive (Parrish, DeBord) and defensive (Herrman and English) staff and it is part of the process of getting better. This really needs to happen at this point. I will be alarmed if no changes are made at this point given the difficulty of the 2018 schedule.

Why is Drevno still holding a clipboard with such an obscene Offensive performance? What is it about him that screams "Greatest Show on Momentum Turf!"?

I am vexed. This vexes me.

Can someone start a post on all the did not dress/play. Seemed like a lot of contributors missing today. Someone said mcdoom was not playing, down three starting lineman, missing a running back? Just generally curious who was missing and why, today was weird for sure.....

It doesn’t matter who coaches when you fumble the ball and throw interceptions going in for scores. Plus you give them the ball two times inside the 20.

I understand he isn’t going to say anything groundbreaking but where was the fire? I wanted to see him pissed off, fired up, maybe vowing to make the changes necessary to win, not meek and blah.

The sideline reporter said Harbaugh could be heard yelling at his team from outside of the locker room at half time. I mean, the fire to the team, and what he projects to the media can be separate. Blasting the team at half time, and throwing players under the bus Brian Kelly style are 2 different things. Maybe we only hear what we need to hear.
