Tampa can be extremely enjoyable if you know what you’re doing. Anyway any illusion about this season being a big success flew out the window with that last errant pass last Saturday. So there’s no reason to be upset again over just the specific bowl matchup; they’re 5-4 in conference.

Boo, would've preferred Holiday against a ranked team.

This is, out of Harbaugh's three Michigan bowls, the closest to a must win given how the season went and how mediocre the opponent is. We need to beat South Carolina.

No bowl game outside of the playoffs has any meaning, let alone a must-win.  The two most disappointing teams in 2017 both won their bowl games last year to get to 9-4...

Florida won last year's Outback Bowl 30-3 against Iowa to go 9-4 for the season.  Was that a must win for Florida?  How did that turn out?

Tennessee also won their bowl game to to 9-4 last season.  Again, didn't exactly propel them to great things.

Ugh again? Really would have preferred a different opponent than one we played “recently”. Is I.T just me or does I.T feel like we’ve been playing in the same 2 bowls the last 5-6 years

Great chance at 9 wins, probably pretty emphatically. USC is a very mediocre team that got to 8 wins with some luck. They are an old, experienced team that is worse on offense and defense than Michigan, and I don't see them having a coaching advantage either.

That's the way I see it. These young men know they've put forth as much effort as they would have had they gone 12-0. By many measures, they've had a very good season. It's just not on par with the standard at UM. But these freshmen and sophs are aware they're part of something that is still far from being a finished product and they've worked their ass off and done their part. They deserve a nice vacation in the warm weather and for a numer of them it'll be a return to their area of the country. It's been awhile since we've been in a position to look at a bowl like this as if we've really underperformed. Just wishing them a lot of fun and thank them for working their asses off this year. Go Blue!!!!

South Carlolina is the presumed leader but we are still in the mix.  Maybe a dominant win against them would make give him something to think about.

Long shot - but it is a small tidbit to make this game interesting.

not to use the names of these young men in a derogatory manner on a public forum. By so doing, you're merely emphasizing your role here as a troll, fooling no one. Either stfu, and if you won't go away, don't slander the young men, not even those going to msu or tosu, the school you actually back. thank you.
