I'll take it. This was a better bowl than I was expecting us to get. Plus we can get some revenge on a team that basically beat us on a 70 yard Hail Mary a couple years ago. And we'll actually be able to read the numbers on the backs of our jerseys. Only downside is they'll probably show the Clowney hit about 50,000 times between now and then.

It's hard to explain, but as a father it hurts me personally when they show that hit and Vincent is laying on the ground valiantly still trying to maintain possession of the ball.

I know it's just a game, but after all he has done for Michigan and the community, it just seems unfair that they only ever show that.

I'm fine with this matchup.  I'm glad we are getting a very winnable game in a game that doesn't matter at all.  Hopefully Peters plays well and stays clean and we feel good about the young guys going into next year.

I don't think that my parents are going to sign off on that permission slip. Too high of a chance to get an airborn disease or attacked by a deranged juggalo. There's also the ever present danger of getting caught in a runaway couch fire.

Yeah, what the fuck is up with that?

Why are the Big Ten teams always second class citizens in these bowl games?  The SEC does not own these bowl games.

We should just go to the bowl that lets us be the home team for once . . . "You want Michigan to sign up for your crappy bowl?  You let us be the home team."

The bowls should work it out so that M always gets to wear the blue home jersey. It’s an iconic look—why wouldn’t the bowls want that anyway? Especially like here, where the opponent has a totally different color scheme. Let South Carolina wear their pink home jersey too if they want. Nobody will be confused.

Between now and game time, how many times do we have to see Mr. Smith get punished because of a blown blocking scheme? I say they make it part of the commercial. Second clip? 200 times?

We should invite Vincent Smith to the bowl game, lay an unholy ass beating on South Carolina, and then give him the game ball as a token of our appreciation for all that he has done for Michigan, and for having to put up with all the Clowney hit highlights that were not his fault.

I'm personally getting a bit tired of the Florida bowl games, but this will be a great opportunity to get a win vs an SEC school and show out in a talent rich state. Without too much insight, I think we stack up pretty well against these guys and should be able to come out with a W.

I think we can beat USCe, even with weak-mediocre QB play (but can’t turn the ball over more than maybe once). Don Brown’s defense will have to bring their A game and a defensive or STs score could decide the outcome. I predict Higdon, Evans, and Isaac will combine for 250 yards and we win by a TD.

We can win this game if the person who called the OSU game call the bowl game.  If the OC who called the other games does it, it will be a long and boring game and the gamecoks will win.
