Meta: Can we please ban FranklinHatchett?

The racist stereotyping is out of control and it is downright embarrassing to have that kind of act associated with the University of Michigan in any way. His recent forum post is evidence that he needs to be prevented from sharing content here.

Hey, we're living in a material world. The internet has allowed more people to commodify identity itself. Formerly, that was restricted to people who actually have a talent for something. There's a point system here which serves as commodification for these personas. And, of course, even if you don't, I know who Clarence Boddicker is (It's me!) and can receive a little ego boost that way.

Budweiser can suck my dilly dilly and lick my pit of misery. On one hand, they insult people who enjoy craft beer, while with the other they buy up craft breweries left and right and engage in various shenanigans to make life harder for brewers who want to stay independent.

When the rest of us are all having so much fun?

Seriously though, he is a shitposter and shouldn't have board-posting capabilites. But the comments he makes and the responses make me chuckle most of the time.

I interact with a large number of people who speak forms of English that differ from mine. None of them write with that kind of voice. "Franklin's" writing self-consciously tries to evoke a specific dialect, which is absurd. People who actually speak in different dialects read the same words and pronounce them differently. They don't change the spelling. It would be like someone trying to act Canadian by by typing "Oot" instead of out or "hoose" instead of house. Nobody does this. It's absurd and insulting.
