USC Trick Punt Return for a TD
Today sucks. This is a fun play so I decided to post it.

If you're ever looking up for a punt, you're gonna get knocked the fuck out. It should be the punter's job to communicate to everyone where the ball is kicked.

Watched a replay of Wisconsin's punt return TD and I can't figure out why there wasn't a call for a hold or block in the back on Ambry Thomas as he is approaching the ball on the turf. The Wisconsin gunner running with him grabs his arm and pulls him back which causes their feet to tangle which in turn caused Thomas to fall. Maybe that isn't a penalty, for some reason, but I can not understand why it hasn't been mentioned anywhere.

We don't have a coaching spot wasted on a Special Teams coach so we can have two on the OL. Duh.

Don't lie. You know you like our 3 yard passes when we're down multiple scores with 5 minutes to go.
November 18th, 2017 at 11:47 PM ^
Would you prefer the longer-developing plays that sometimes cause our QB to be hospitalized?
November 18th, 2017 at 11:49 PM ^
Why try the longer developing plays when you can run it for 2 yards?
November 19th, 2017 at 4:21 AM ^
Etc
You know the plays that burned us vs PSU? Why arent we at least trying to catch them out of position. Almost Every play is a finesse pass to the edge or bang your head up the gut. Take a real of what has beat us and coach the crap out of it. If it fails it just replaces one of 30-2 yard runs or a sack.

Yeah, because running a slant into zone coverage designed to beat slants is the same as running slants into press man coverage that leaves a run first safety against a slot reciever.
Because a particular play might work against Don Brown's defense does not mean it will work against anyone else's defense.

Love the meathead ABC is micing up behind the end zone right now.
"The Cleveland Browns are gonna love you!"

either Darnold or Rosen since they're likely a 1st round pick in the draft.

he was only here one year. Made quite an impact on special teams.

a few years ago vs. UT. Not certain who the foe was but first I saw it was the Utes about two years ago and that also went for a TD

He did a nice job, but we really didn't miss a beat last year. This year we've seen a dropoff in the punt game (not so much kickoffs) but we've also lost Allen and Peppers.

The dummy receiver is signalling for a fair catch. That nullifies any return by anyone unless the ball hit the ground.
Watch videos of other teams doing the same play. Nobody else calls for fair catch
