When I saw that pass clank off his hands, I found myself saying things that weren't fit for mixed company - or a company of Marines, for that matter.
Wide open at the 30, the pass was on the money, and you've got a clear path out of bounds to stop the clock. Now think, Eddie: what did you forget to do?
I always wondered why they only used McDoom for jet sweeps or the occasional WR screen. I'd think, Why don't they use a guy with his speed as a down field target?
Maybe we just saw the answer.

Speights out for the season. If O'Korn keeps playing like that the next game or two, there's no doubt you have to play Peters some and get him in the game. The kid has been in the program two years. If he isn't ready to go by now in the offense, he might never be.

Find another argument because this one isn't good.

Not to mention three of the last five Heisman Trophy winners were 2nd year QBs. Two were RS freshmen and the third a true sophomore.

In addition, an OL cannot be competent until all of the members are RS Juniors and Seniors and all of the starters return.

they all HAVE to have been recruited by the current staff NO HOLDOVERS!

Chad Henne did pretty well.

who had an above average O-line, a great WR and a future record holding RB that was incapable of fumbling.
The D was fine too.

Don't need new guys on the OL, need new guys coaching the OL. When your best offensive lineman, with NFL written all over him, looks like he should be starring in a 1960s adventure on the Jupiter 2, Lost in Space, that is a coaching problem, not a player problem.

True. Those of us who feel Peters should play are doing so because he will be at UM next season and might be a better option than bringing Speight back. O'Korn is a senior and will definitely not be back.
This move is about 2018, not 2017 which is pretty much shot to hell anyway.

to keep defenses honest. Hey may not. Only way to know is to give him a chance.

Do you any of you realize how stupid this sounds? So we can't put in a high 4 star QB recruit until the line is fixed which is an unknown point in the future? We're just going to sit on them while years pass by? Jesus, this is the ultimate in defeatist bullshit hot takes.

Got it, so if you take away the bad plays, Michigan then wins? Bold. Potential does not equal success. In addition, we have seen this offense from the past 4 games and it does not look as if it is going to improve.
