Cowherd back to trolling Michigan, predicts Harbaugh to Colts
After all this time saying he "loved" Harbaugh to Michigan, which was contrary to his opinion of "HE NOT GOIN BACK TO COLLEGE", the guy is back to the tired old "Harbaugh will never stay at Michigan, book him to NFL jobs" shtick.

So it's either 1) he has the connections, and Michigan has the resources to garner top coaching talent or 2) this is some elaborate plan by an ex NFL coach to covertly assemble an NFL coaching squad at the college level and then transplant them to a shitty NFL team. This same coach also passed up several NFL offers, where he could've assembled an equally impressive supporting, and went to a college program in order to throw everyone off of his scent.
Maybe I'm a homer. Maybe I'm naive. But I really think he likes Michigan. I really think this is where he wants to be. Some day he may go to the NFL, but I seriously doubt that this is some conspiracy to set up a coaching staff to transplant out.

I don't know why some get their panties in a bunch when ever someone throws out the "Harbaugh is going to the NFL!" theory.
Colin gives 10 good reason why Harbaugh MIGHT do such a thing.
And Harbaugh could possibly ditch the Wolverines.
But what Colin Cowturd doesn't point out is that his wife and kids love A2 and that his wife would probably kill him if he decided to go to the NFL.
I think Harbaugh and his family have the best of all worlds in A2 and WANT to stay there.
Colin also doesn't understand that the college game is what JIM lives for nor does Colin care to remember that Jim would have gone to Michigan had it not been for how that jack ass Dave Brandon treated him.
So all I can type is that Colin is doing what Colin does best and I can't fault him for it even though he's as wrong as can be.

He said this Tuesday, literally Wednesday he goes on saying that he was at the USC/Stanford game and noticed the Colts GM was there, and has info they are going after David Shaw. Then goes on about how much of a better relationship Luck has with Shaw not Harbaugh.
So he's just going for attention...

It's a legit theory. Harbaugh is like Gruden, every football team (college and pro) has to at least submit an inquiry to him to determine if they have a shot. He'll turn down more programs than we'll ever know.

Harbaugh would want to work for JIM FUCKING IRSAY, who is a pill-popping insane person. Of all NFL locations, him to Indy is laughable just because of the Luck connection and he played there all those years ago. He isn't going anywhere, but if he were, he's not performing a full NFL rebuild.

Colin is just being a "dopey [NFL] fan".
The NFL not the be all and all that many think it is, especially not for somebody from a coaching family.
Yes, competition is in Harbaugh's DNA. You know else is in Harbaugh's DNA? His literal DNA.He said he loves the idea of his kids going to the same schools he went to growing up. His PARENTS moved to Ann Arbor- in their late 70s. Not something they'd do if Ann Arbor was only a pit stop.
Pundits said what they say about every NFL coach going to coach college- they won't like recruiting. Yet Harbaugh embraces recruiting and pushes the legal limits of recruiting further than anybody. They just don't get the man, or what motivates him.
I'd even say the odds of Harbaugh being at Michigan in ten years are better than even.

is to win a national championship. I doubt he would leave until he wins a national championship. This may take another year or three to accomplish. Then he will have to weigh if he wants to leave Michigan for the NFL. I think he will decide that it is not worth it.

But he'll end up breaking Bo's records if his health holds up.
San Francisco cured him of the NFL itch where winning wasn't enough
to keep his job. Win here and he'll have anything he wants for
him and his family. Also screw Colin Cowshit.

Same discussion on a different show called "Speak for Yourself" he stated that Harbaugh would stay at Michigan. Playing both sides of the argument.

We don't need a new thread every time someone in the national media says something about Harbaugh. And especially when well-known hot take artists say something about Harbaugh and the NFL.

I guess if you say the same thing for long enough it might actually be true eventually. Robert Harbaugh was just hired by the Colts.

somehow generatees 120 plus replies though.
The context of this whole thing isn't really saying Colin is predicting he goes back to the Colts. That being said, he's an idiot for making that segment

we are having this discussion. There is no indication of Harbaugh interested in returning to the NFL other than Cowherd's need to generate an audience. I have never liked the guy or his show since joining ESPN. Since he doesn't vet or care what he says publicly, why should we? Yeah, Harbaugh could someday conceivably go to Indy because of his past there and a connection to Andrew Luck while coaching him at Stanford.
You're going to hear this same line of crap only involving a different team every year the coach is at Michigan. Why would a guy who just started his own podcast, move his mom and dad next door to him, have his kids attend the same schools that he did in Ann Arbor growing up, to emulate his own childhood experience, leave for a job with the Indianapolis Colts?
Not only that, but the guy signed a contract to coach for Michigan. And this is a guy who wouldn't even acknowledge that he was talking to Michigan until his contract was up in SF. So there is that, as well, you know the legal ties that bind.

what will happen when John Harbaugh inevitably leaves the Baltimore Ravens, either by firing or by choice? Do you think he winds up on staff with his brother, possibly at Michigan? Because I do.
John is more likely to stay in the NFL then his brother. And once he left he'd more than likely work with Jim than any other possiblity. I mean if you track the staff hires they've made and the coaching connections through their careers, you will notice they tend to hire guys who used to work with their dad and through their own coaching experience. The family connection is huge with the Harbaughs.
