we took our 1 yr old to the cincinnati game and it was awesome

you might remember the thread where i asked if we should take our 1 yr old to the cincinnati game. most people said we were some combination of insane, selfish, and maybe trolls. we were in section 21, row 39. you might have noticed us, but probably didn't because she literally didn't fuss once. slept through the first hour, was happy in her carrier the rest of the game. a guy behind us said: that is the best behaved baby i've ever seen, and i'm about 110 years old. my point is that it can be done. don't let the naysayers convince you it'll be a hellscape. go blue!

I took my 4 month old to the Florida game and he had the time of his life...straight up loved it.

We tailgated for 3 hours and then went to the game. He was awake and alert the entire time. Had to do 2 diaper changes but it wasn't a big deal. Missed probably a minute of actual game time. I don't understand the haters on here WRT bringing young children to games...my wife and I know our child and knew he'd be fine. If we had any doubt we wouldn't have went.

So you got away with a shitty-selfish decision and thought you needed to come here and brag about it. Fuck off.

And I've sat next to kids who have cried the whole game, so good job and getting away with it. you're 4 year old didn't have 'one of his best days' you had one of your best days your 4 year old had no fucking idea what was happening and put your entertainment above everyone else who sat around you.

Actually, grammar in general seems to be very difficult for you. I'll chalk your shitty opinions up to you being 1) drunk and 2) a total piece of shit. I hope I sit next to you at a game in the future and my son cries the entire game and ruins your experience. You are the type of person who gives Michigan fans a bad reputation.

So you've sat by shitty parents. If my son was crying and having an issue being at a game I'd leave that instant.

A coupe caveats: 1) I probably wouldn't have brought him to Michigan Stadium but at ATT each seat is defined and has a chair back and 2) we were in the club level (which is the lowest bowl) and on the aisle so we had easy access to the bathrooms and changing tables.

My biggest issue is you judging OP for bringing her kid to a game. To each their own, man...just let it be.

Bravo sir. And how is it anything but a selfish act bringing a child to a football game that won't remember it and can only cause a distraction? yea yea your kid is the best kid that ever was but seriously you couldn't pay a teenager 20 bucks? Ok you keep fighting the good fight and tell everyone off but you're still selfish

To everyone criticizing the OP - her baby slept soundly through the first half and was happy as a clam for the rest of the game.

For us adults who were awake to watch our offense, can any of us say we were anywhere near as happy at what we watched?

It is our duty as a Wolverine Nation. But until Larry Page's Meechigan chip implants are approved I will settle for exposing individual one-y.o. future fans to the ups and downs of watching football in Michigan Stadium. This builds character. Kudos to the parents, I underwent similar programming as a child and today I can weather the storms life throws our way.

Good job, man. Always admire people that can still get out. My 1yr old needs to walk and run at all times and would be terrible sitting still for more than 10 mins.

I would usually say no one cares, but, oddly, it seems like a lot of people care? Can your one year old play quarterback yet because Willy's not getting it done

Glad to hear it worked out. I took my 2 year old to Dallas last weekend for the Florida game. He had a blast! Fans were giving him high fives and he really enjoyed it! Didn't cry once.
