was Harbaugh more calm in the Florida game because of the new sideline rules? he didn't really have any GIF where the meltdowns and didn't even react when a player was marked short right in front of him. I didn't see anyone else discussing this on the board

These kids are learning from his example.  I'd prefer he were able to say "life isn't fair" and move on with things.  You can have a discussion with the official without the histrionics.

The guy yelling and screaming may get his way but he doesn't get my respect.  I like a lot of things about Harbaugh, but not that.

I didn't really see anything worth going nuts over.

He never gets mad at the players...and that's the only thing I saw worth being upset over.

The Devin Bush play was way too early and it was a close call (that ended up going our way as it should've).

The only truly blown call was HUGE, but it was so confusing that I'm not sure anyone on the field knew what happened. (The TD that was taken off the board).

Lastly, he's usually a lot more cool at the beginning of the year and with a young team, I don't think he's going to be as animated. But let's wait until one of these B1G refs completely blows a call.

I remember thinking that as well. You never hear the pro call out the current crew. Didn't watch his press conference, did he mention this? I mean, dudes need to be fired over this stuff. Why in the world can't they review a play like that and get it right? It's could be the difference between winning or losing a game.

bring it up himself. Said it was absolutely blown call. Everyone was properly lined up with two eligible receivers on the right side of the formation and Wheatley the only other potential receiver who could have been eligible on the LOS but he didn't go out on the pattern. He stayed in to block so no one was illegally covered up. Harbaugh said the officials confused Wheatley with the Hammering Panda as he motioned from the backfield across the formation. How you confuse those two is beyond me. But the officials rebuffed Speight when he came into argue the call after the play was over. Moreover, on replay, it looked like Crawford took a step back off the LOS before the snap. That was a huge call because it took four points off the board. Michigan should have scored on that drive because Evans tripped over the five yard line and was headed in for an easy TD and then Isacc was stopped short at the 2 when he was about to head in. That whole series was snakebit.

Whether or not a reciever was eligible should be reviewable -- it's not a judgement call.  Whether or not a given player was downfield might be a judgement call, though.  Replay could have clearly shown that Hill was an eligible receiver, though, if that's really the guy the referees thought had committed a penalty.

how much would Mora getting fired really help Michigan recruiting? I hope a lot but I'm not sure. it seems like UCLA is a good destination regardless of the coach

I get the family/closeness point, but the guy traded Harbaugh for Mora. As for DTR, maybe he will wake up and choose UM after watched yesterday vs this putrid offense. Rosen is top 1-2 QB and they can't produce any points.
