I'll bang this morning. Do you know why? I actually haven't thought about off-season football in over 3 weeks thanks to the hoops team. Thanks for the great run, hoops team. It was a razor thin margin between advancing to the Elite 8 and going home. They proved they belonged.

I tend to get a little intense during games. I've been known to curse loudly, throw things, and bang my fist on things during games and especially after a loss.
This morning my 11 year-old daughter comes up to me and says: "Daddy, I had a bad dream about you. It scared me."
I asked her what it was.
She said: "I dreamed the Wolverines made the National Championship game and lost. You got so mad you blew up the house."
Was give her a brick of her own to throw. Make it a family bonding moment.
Well I have taught her to curse loudly when things don't go her way.

That's about the 4,000th time my team did not win it all. I will not be deterred.
It's just amazing that those guys are still . . . alive.
At least for our sake, we did not have West Virginia's final possession happen in our game. I very much doubt any of us would still be verbal if that had occurred. Well, no, we'd be verbal, but in a base, profane sort of way, I imagine.
Some of the Twitter schadenfreude over the end of that game was epic.

Last night, Michigan, WVU, and Arizona all had the last shot of the game to win or tie.
We all missed.
At least we got an open look by our best player.
The other two . . . not so much.
The end result is still the same though.
Oh well, it is what it is.

I was pretty much tuned out of Bball after that. So, this run was like mana from heaven. Didn't see that happening. Provides hope that after more offseason development, the team will be positioned to make a run again next year. Bang, bang!

Not the result we all wanted, but still a great game. I am ready for some great football recruting news and boating season is right around the corner. Go Blue!
