Three more MSU players may be off team
There were rumors bandied about early this week about some very bad news dropping for MSU football today, and now some stories are starting to surface that include Josh King and two others being gone. Names mentioned include LJ Scott, Donnie Corley, Demetric Vance, and Kenny Lyke. Will be interesting to see how this develops.

What I have heard is that Corley is fine, but LJ, Lyke, and King are suspended.

You all are getting worked up about nothing. This was a rumor started on the Michigan Scout board of all places. If you read through the RCMB thread, they realize this and also realize there is no real evidence.
It sounds more like "suspended for the first quarter against Bowling Green" offense rather then gettign kicked off the team.

They arent going to kick LJ Scott off the team unless he has committed some extremely serious crime which if he had we wouldve heard about it in the news. LJ is basically all MSU has to look forward and he's basically Dantonios only shot at an average season. He aint getting kicked off

Yes, this is the incident. Obviously can't ID anyone from the video but supposedly someone the police talked to pointed out football players. All names are speculation until the police statement/story is reported later.

Same guy on scout (who originally broke this story) now says it won't be announced until next week. Not sure that means charges or suspensions or what?

If charges are brought I believe it will be a "suspended pending the result of the legal process" deal. Then, if there's no way to prove the MSU players were the ones to assault the unconcious kid, rob his pockets, or shoot the few rounds you could hear in the background, then those players will be released from their suspension. If anyone is found guilty I'd guess it would be a few game suspensions, maybe 4. I doubt anyone gets kicked off the team.

Are you fucking kidding me. Assault, strong arm robbery and gun charges. If any football player is charged, that is three felonies that I saw. If one of there faces are seen robbing that kid there fucked. If someone did that to my kid and the prosecutor let it go I would go on a crusade to make sure they lose there job. No way to prove it. No way to prove it. How about a video and twenty witnesses. Where the hell do you live.

That video is incredibly disgusting to watch. People continuing to kick and stomp on the face of an unconscious kid, then immediately going for his pockets to rob him. What the fuck is wrong with people? Then for good measure pop off a few rounds to scare everyone shitless when they're trying to help him. Whoever they are, whether student athletes or just students, they should be expelled.

We might want to hold off on the response to this. If it is actually a result of behaviors and are decent players, they will be back on the team by fall ball, worst case. Dantonio has no character.
