Sources: There have been preliminary discussions about moving the Michigan-Florida season opener at AT&T Stadium to Sunday, Sept. 3. Both schools still must sign off on the date change. The game is currently set for Saturday, Sept. 2.

No. You deserve the comment. You blocked me over something utterly childish, but I could care less ...but you being a Twitter blocker is absolutely 100%, you. This thread epitomizes that sort of thing. God willing the game isn't moved to Sunday.

I didn't bring it up. Someone else did - that you're a puss who clearly blocks on Twitter when you get your feelings hurt - and I simply corroborated that fact. sort of like a second witness who saw the same behavior and mentioned it. knob

If our point system here weren't broken (meaning, +2 for upvote, -1 for downvote) he would be negative. Actually, maybe not because he upvotes himself almost every single post, and who knows how many alternate accounts to upvote himself. But still, if voting were truly based on merit, he'd be negative.

"why does everyone hate me? I just want to be loved." -wd

I can't imagine...

First, he was responding to others talking about you blocking people on Twitter. He didn't bring it up unsolicited. Second, you constantly do this shit where you argue in circles, like a woman who can't win a fair argument, so keep moving the bar.

And last; I can't even begin to explain the irony of you, of all "people" calling someone a punk. You are the punk lord, kiddo.

but, the bigger problem are all the damn ads - that's what's making the games unwatchable. let me pay $10 or whatever to watch a game and make it (relatively) ad free. Honestly, I don't much care what day it's on, and, once in a while, it can be on a different day.

Seriously? This wouldn't be anywhere close to the Kraft Noodle. The NFL regular season still wouldn't have started that week so there's almost no conflicts. I see no problem with this whatsoever. Only reason to not like this would be if your bedtime is too early on Sunday night...

Exactly.

The NFL season hasn't started. WD, what are you talking about?

They always have games Saturday, Sunday, Monday on Labor Day weekend.

Also, how are you putting this on Warde? TV is 100% driving this...if it gets them more views and Warde gets more money for Michigan, it's not that big of a deal on a holiday weekend when most people have Monday off anyway.

It's not that big of a deal.

but playing a Sunday night game gives exclusivity.  Long gone are the times of 125 scholarship rosters and overwhelming advantages for the big schools.   We still have an upper hand, but 25 years ago there is a 0% chance that a WMU gets a chance to play in the Cotton Bowl.

By scheduling this game on Sunday, you pretty much guarantee that almost every football fan is going to be watching it.  Especially given that it's at the beginning of the season when everybody is still starving for football.

This is like my cholesterol medicine.  I'm not really a fan of it, but it's probably the right thing to do.

And here I agree with wd. This would be very, very not cool. Especially after we made a stand about playing on Friday, that the B10 seems intent on doing.
