Latest on Najee Harris: Tua says they're flying to Bama together

Maybe Harris really does like the spotlight and was smart enough to figure out that by saying nothing, he could get far more coverage than anyone else.

Maybe he's goign to Alabama. Maybe he's not. We'll know by the end of the week.

based on what this Tua said?  Like someone else said, he could be flying to Birmingham to connect to Detroit.  So, technically, Tua could be flying with him to Alabama and be telling the truth.  He could also be telling the truth that he is "scheduled to room with Harris" (if Harris were to go to Alabama).  Still, all this stuff is getting tiring.  This weekend can't come soon enough.  

It's better to have recruited and lost than to have never recruited at all.

Alabama QB commit Tua Tagovailoa told 247Sports that Harris and him were “on the same flight,” from San Antonio to Birmingham on Sunday. 

 

I think the key word is WERE. Im convinced. Hes coming here. 

Have to say, with as much as Tua has been talking about how Harris coming to Bama is pretty much in the bank, he's going to look like a total assclown if Harris happens to go the other way.

Najee will Stone Cold Stunner Tua right in the terminal and turn back to the gates leading him to AA...my sources say

that Harris isn't as adverse to playing recruiting games as we've been led to believe (not that there's anything wrong with that).  Given how confident both Alabama and Michigan commits/coaching staffs are, seems pretty likely that at least one school is getting fed bad info.

This one is sealed and delivered to the Tide.  On to the next one.  We also have a RB who will be a huge star already in our backfield.

If this news is true, then it would make some people wonder why this kid is telling it. Harris has given all indications that he wants to keep things quiet. Though you never know with these kids nowadays. Many of them seem so eager to tell the media about some privileged insider recruiting information. They want to show they know something that everybody else doesn't know. Maybe Harris meant if he decides on Alabama, then he would try to go there with Tua. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I just checked. There are no direct flights from San Antonio to Birmingham. Don't know if this matters. Good lord what have I become.

ok. I'm a glutton for najee information as much as the next guy, but this is ridiculous. this was just in another thread and didn't deserve it's own thread, and also I don't buy it regardless. if he was actually this secretive about it, no way on earth he let's this get out.

If a commit has been showing interest in another school and has not reaffirmed his commitment, it is likely he will go to the other school.

Everyone who enrolls at Alabama(*) automatically gets an email account AND a free ticket to fly to Tuscaloosa from anywhere in the USA.  Means nothing.

If he goes to Bama, that's no surprise, but his future QB wouldn't spill the beans against his wishes, even if he did know.  These kids are having a ton of fun at the expense of some grownups.

And from a logistical standpoint, the kid would be wise to have refundable tickets booked to both AA or Tuscaloosa and for student housing to have his living arrangements made since he would be showing up somewhere Saturday or Sunday night.

Can we trust Tua? I mean he is a qb that is going to Bama. They are not really know for getting QBs drafted high

Now that the season's over and I've got nothing for eight months, recruiting drama is all I have--so I won't relax. I'm riding a roller coaster and loving it.

There has to be a Russian UM alum that can hack into Najee's phone and get all of his texts and emails for us. Then we'll truly know and won't have to wait any longer. This reminds me of my wife. I have to know now whether or not I need to be worried in the future, because I'm worried that if I'm not prepared to be worried than the worry might be to much to handle. We'll know when he wants us to know. Why will knowing now be better than knowing when he wants us to know? You know what I mean? The end.
