Potential Injuries

Submitted by MGoStrength on

Boy, it's looks like there have been quite a few potential injuries for major contributors.  Mone, Charlton, and Hurst have all been out.  Also, Lewis is not playing.  McCray was also holding either his hand or his groin, but played through it.  And, Smith came out with a possible rib injury.  Anyone have any injury information on these key contributors?

No way anything should be read into anyone leaving and not returning to todays game . There was no need to get anyone back into that game . If this was a big time game they stayed out of, then yes worry. But that wasnt the case . The way this team looked today our second team players will be better than the first team of some of the teams we will play early .

None of them seemed particularly bad save maybe Charlton, but even then he walked off with a limp.  I assume all of them could have played in a different game.

But getting an MRI doesn't seem like a good sign to me. I had hopes that Pipkins would be a force collapsing the pocket in the middle, but he got hurt and never got healthy enough to play here. I was hoping Mone could be that force inside, but he can't seem to stay healthy either. Hope to hell the scan is just precautionary.

An MRI is only a diagnostic tool.  It only means they want to know whether it is bad or not.  Don't jump to conclusions.  They come back negative very often.

There is no reason to assume that it is anything season ending yet just because he is getting an MRI.

obviously unfortunate whenever anyones forced to exit, even more so opening week.  but better now than during conference play for day to day and week to week type injuries.

no one likes hanging with the trainers and watching your boys get after it but its extra brutal to miss time as a senior (ie if charlton must sit) or in consecutive years (ie if mone misses significant time).  always sucks to see guys suffer injuries given the invested effort / time / emotion, etc so hopefully no one misses serious time.  those dudes all wanna play and we wanna watch them, fingers crossed its nothing major and theyre back sooner than later

I watched him walk around the south end zone to the locker room midway through first half. No apparent limp like Charlton but was was walking very slowly. I know that doesn't tell us much but that is what I saw.

What the fuck? Asking for "information on injuries" before the game is even over?

And what kind of fucking idiot thinks a message board is the place to come for information like this? It's guarded more than Ft. Knox.

Seriously, how can someone with so many sissy points post an idiotic request like that?

Board full of fucking morons.
