Aside from him kind of moving to LB, why would/do you think he is trying to gain weight?

He actually himself said he gained 10+ pounds either in a presser or interview just before the start of fall camp. Another example is Mo Hurst. I heard in, again, either a presser or interview that he also gained 10+ pounds yet I believe was shown at around the same weight. Both of those I heard on WTKA.

10 lbs. is a lot to gain during a presser unless your name is Kobayashi.

+1
So I wonder what position he plans on playing on Sundays? I guess part of that will be answered depending on how his season goes.

Yeah when they listed him at 350 on the roster my first gut reaction was that he was more than that and they just put down a nice round number capped at 350.
A guy that big that can move can really clog up the inside.

Sam Webb had a good laugh at the listing for Onwenu's weight on the roster during his radio show soon after it came out.

...there was no way. I thought they just capped it at 350. Which now seems like it's confirmed.

The hour long drives to work are just killing me. I hope they can finish it off by Labor Day.

Marques Slocum agrees with your animal comparison.

All weight gains are good....?

If he runs well at 375, can you imagine what he'll be like at 330? Dear goodness.

This site says around 6000 calories.....but that seems sort of low actually.

That's not healthy. I hope he has all the success in the world, just with about 50 less lbs so he can enjoy it (life) longer.

Well, if between practice and workouts they are burning 2,000 calories, and he is an 18 yo male of height 6'3 and weight 375, then he would have a BMR of 3232. So 2000 + 3232 = 5232 calories per day to maintain his current weight.
Which means he could eat about 107 ounces of steak or 19 chicken breats or 12 chicken sandwiches from Chick Fil A everyday to maintain weight.
