Little did any of you know, but I am creating a Mgoblog Bylaw SuperGuide. I've completed a thorough review, and I'm afraid that this will be here forever. It's all here in black and white:
Mgoblog meeting of 1/16/2012:
Vote on Bylaw 324.45 (1)(a) Deletion of threads/posts; scope and authority.
1. It is understood that a moderator (or “mod”) may delete any post determined to be obscene, inflammatory, political, vulgar, stupid or nonsensical. It is up to the discretion of the mods to determine if the thread or post falls into any of these categories.
2. If there is a dispute among moderators regarding a problem post, all issues will be resolved at the quarterly meeting in the Scorekeepers loft. Pursuant to previously approved bylaws, if an agreement cannot be reached, the conflicting parties will resolve all issues via Rochambo or Counter Strike.
3. If requests by a thread starter are made to delete said thread, these will be taken under advisement by the requested parties.
4. Moderators do not have the right to delete threads or posts if they do not meet the criteria listed in 1. and they were not specifically requested to do so.
Bylaw Approved 10 to 6- Votes: For = 10 (Brian), Against = 6 (Seth, LSA, Justin, ZL, PGB, Ace).
Next meeting agenda item: Redistributing the weight of the moderator voting system.
I think #3 and #4 is where you're stuck, WD. Sorry about the bad news.....
