Rich Eisen - ultimate troll god

Submitted by WMUgoblue on

Well Jemele Hill didn't take long to implode on Twitter after the game, and Rich Eisen had a great retort.

Wonder how it feels to be on the wrong end of a bizarre finish you don't deserve that you'll replay over and over in your head. @jemelehill

I just wish I knew who she was (besides some sparty fan and espn employee). had not heard of her before a month ago. and seeing her less-than-classy responses tonight, doubt she will be heard from again.

She was a Staee beat writer at the Freep.

Shes a real piece of work according to her wiki page :

During the 2008 NBA Playoffs, Hill was suspended from her post after referencing Adolf Hitler in an article about the then-NBA champion Boston Celtics and the Detroit Pistons. In an editorial describing why she could not support the Celtics, Hill wrote: "Rooting for the Celtics is like saying Hitler was a victim. It's like hoping Gorbachev would get to the blinking red button beforeReagan. Deserving or not, I still hate the Celtics." The comments immediately generated a negative response from readers and that portion of the editorial was taken out shortly after the column was published. Hill was subsequently suspended for one week and she issued an apology through ESPN.[3]

Later in 2009, Hill once again was reprimanded for her comments after comparing University of Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball coach John Calipari to Charles Manson.[4] She later apologized to the university.[5]

In 2009, she also accused baseball player Sammy Sosa of being a racist for using skin creme that made his complexion lighter in an effort to hide his vitiligo.[6]

Hill has also been criticized for taking unpopular or extreme stances, leading many to accuse her of inflating her ESPN.com page hits by creating controversy.[

If you put yourself in that position against a 3-6 team where a bad call can lose you the game, you deserve very little sympathy. Nevermind the fact that Nebraska still would of had a couple more shots at it against a MSU secondary who couldn't cover anybody.

does any other media person spew curse words like this? I get it for fans and normal folk but just boggling to see a media person talk like this

She's only employed because of demographics.  Yeah, I said it.  I'm part of that demographic too.  Truth hurts.

You can throw up a sad face emoji or something...but that's about it. She should at least be suspended.

And MSU was gift wrapped that game by the officials, so fuck her for acting like MSU's was "clean."

Our captain senior LB missed more than half the game, his final game, over some bullshit call. And there were plenty of other calls.

Actually, ESPN shouldn't suspend her. They should make her come to work on Monday and talk about it for 15 minutes...THEN suspend her.

Rich Eisen is pure class and I can't remember a time I was embarrassed by his connection to UM.

I get embarrassed by Jemele Hill by pretty much everything she says, regardless of her MSU affiliation.

Her fantastic responses to people on Twitter include gems such as "shut up" and "you're a moron." Jamele Hill is a grade A piece of shit of a... whatever the fuck her job is called.

was something Jemele Hill could get fired over, she'd have gotten fired a long time ago. I believe she has had a fair few "controversial" statements in her time at ESPN and yet her employment continues.

On the note of ESPN disciplining employees, I wonder if Curt Schilling will ever be back on air with them..
