Actually yes. Think about it, if you had to pick a position to lose one of your key backups, can you think of a better one? Maybe RB and that's it. Injuries are gonna happen. There are worse positions it could have happened to. Don't get me wrong I had really high hopes for him but this isn't the end of the world if true.

Hope this isn't true. Every team has a player get injured in fall camp and miss the season though, but hopefully it's only one or two guys when it's all said and done.

and unfortunately, at least one major injury occurs in every fall camp.  I honestly can't remember one where it didn't, but I could be wrong.  As you say, Michigan is far from alone in this category.  But, there always seems to be one of these season-ending injuries where you just say "aw shit.  That really sucks."  Hopefully, this rumor is false.  But if it isn't, we can hope he's the only unfortunate one.

I absolutely hate Rumors from camp being posted on the board. No need to cause panic in case it's wrong, and no need to say, "Hey I got the info on the board first!! SOME ONE IS HURT AND I'M AWESOME!"

Let the team/coaching staff reveal this information when the want, and how they want.

Knowing vs. Rumors buddy. I don't care who posts it on another site. If the front page here isn't releasing a statement on an injury of a major contributor, then the MGoBoard shouldn't be spreading rumors.

If this ends up being true....wow. Completely changes how multiple we can be with our fronts. Means a lot less 3-4 with Glasgow at NT 100% of the snaps and a little more 4 man front. Makes it more imperative than ever that Taco steps up so we can rotate Wormley back in at the 3-tech. Mone was going to be an absolute monster (and still will be one day), but losing a year of productivity/experience really sucks for the young man.

At this point, we should be expecting this stuff before the season. It sucks, but it happens just about every year, at least to us because we can't have nice things.

The Femur is the hardest bone to brake in the body. Plus, with his tree-trunk legs, that had to be some collision to brake his femur.

It could happen, but FWIW it wouldn't be easy.
