How many years in a row does this make us losing a potential impact player for at least part of the season? Jake Ryan, Jake Butt, and now Mone? Damn we've got bad luck.

At least he can redshirt? #silverlinings

all programs must address injuries each season - its not just michigan, its every school.  football is a great game but unfortunately injuries occur.  nature of injuries may vary, as does potential impact of injured players  (but id be amazed if stats show michigan suffering disproportionately over long haul).   these situations further highlight the significance of roster management, the value of all 85 scholarships every single year, and the reality that truly great programs actually practice the "next man up" ideal

These, at best, only speed healing by a week or two over the course of many months - IF it all goes well. I am dealing with this right now in our household. The SO acquired a stress fracture that has now multiplied into multiple stress fractures - from marathon running, she has 500 full finishes - and my information is rather current. Get it? Electrical bone stimulators and current. Damn I should bottle my humor and sell it on the open market. Note to self.

I'll be the first to say, submarine or no submarine, I don't believe it.  Something would have come out sooner if this happened yesterday and it surely didn't happen at today's practice.  Hope and pray.

We did land Harbaugh in the off-season when every news person in the U.S. of A was saying there was no chance he would go back to college.  So I think we got some good luck there, but  I get what your saying that we have had some tough luck with injuries However, if I know Harbs like I think I do, it is next man up and it is all about the team.

Unfortunately, it's part of the game and just as unfortunate is the lack of desire to change rules and/or equipment to make them a lesser part of the game. I digress. Go to any team's fan site/blog and you will see this. (Or you can check new posts to see what BYU & MSU are now dealing with.)

Terrible for Mone if true. Football - wise, not great. But Henry takes more snaps than planned at NT and the door cracks open for Godin at 3T. This kid can play
