Considering the enjoyment that the other school's getting from having the highest average attendance for home football games during the 2014 season, maybe it would be better to call that other school "Horseshoe U" (though others may suggest changing the "oe" to "it.")

In 2015, who ended Ohio State's reign as #1 in home attendance?

And are we sure this is from Ohio State? Because it sure looks like an ad from ticketmaster

Imagine how their fans would react if we made a sign that said...

14-7

Q: Who led the 2015 National Champions in the 2nd quarter for over 7 minutes in "The Game?"

They would laugh their asses off and we'd cover our faces in shame.

This is moronic, OSU, stop trying so damn hard.

It would be much easier for them to tout their dominance in the rivalry over the last decade-plus, or to perhaps mention that their head coach has won several national championships while ours has none.

They are only setting themselves up for the UM comeback in 12 months. This is not an aspect of the annual rivalry they can win -- we outgun (er out-stadium) them. This was a one-time-only thing.

I am impressed they didn't use phrases like "breathtaking outlooks on the Olentangy River, provided you sit in certain seats and it isn't foggy" or "short drive from the Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center". Also, maybe the location of the nearest Menard's or Meijer in the event someone needs a cooler. If you're going to sell something based on its popularity, you might as well sell people on the reasons why it might be popular.

Ugh, I hate those assholes. They got to beat up on 2 shitty coaches and the worst AD ever the last few years. Congrats OSU. Enjoy it while you can, it won't last much longer after Harbaugh shoves his foot up your asses.

We are so in their heads.

This is Harbaugh's mode of operation . . . immediately pick a fight with the biggest bully on the block.  He did it with USC.  He did it with Seattle.  Now he's doing it with Ohio State.

I expected something like this eventually.  What I didn't expect is how easily Ohio State would fall for it.

They are an awfully nervous looking outfit for a program that has just won a National Championship and dispatched the SEC champion and the trendiest program in CFB doing it.

If I'm a top recruit and I'm looking at Ohio State, I'm going to ask myself if I should also be paying attention to Michigan.  Because Ohio State sure pays a lot of attention to Michigan.

Well, yes. Part of the reason we have been losing to OSU so much this century is BECAUSE of how much attention they give us. I wish M was doing that because maybe we would have some more wins against them. I know Jim is doing it, though.

You are right.  He is also baiting Saban a bit too.  Harbaugh is not even worried about Sparty because he knows that situation will work itself out as it historically does.

We stunk last year and a lot of our fans made a point not to come because of Dave. Ohio St is like a little kid. They really don't have many things better than Michigan and it kills them. They win a title and talk all offseason about us. Their players, coaches and fans spend tons of time on social media talking about Michigan. If they spent that time focusing on OSU maybe they would get out of the 100s for University rankings...

I don't get into the whole little brother thing just calling them for what they are,Children. My wife's aunt and uncle are huge Buckeye fans. When they found out she was dating a Wolverine they starting treating her and her family like crap.

Maybe not everyone of them is like that but to me that is bush league crap. Sport over family makes me think they have mental issues as well.

If I could trade the overall attendance record for a 16 year head-to-head record like they've had against us, I'd take it.  Realize this is salt in the wound, but let's keep our eye on the prize folks.

Dave Brandon and a shitty home schedule for this. As bad as last season was I don't even blame the plat on the field. Just bad home games and worse direction.

Let me fire back. You make this forum a less fun place to read and engage with others. I've followed your posts for months and although you respond a lot, it doesn't make you the champion of this forum. Maybe the post above was in poor taste, I've seen worse, but please before you start casting judgments on others please take inventory of your own posts. Your general unpleasant demeanor and posts generally don't add value to this board and really contribute to this board's increasing unpleasant nature.

It's like the only way in the history of humanity that they'd ever have higher attendance than us is if there was one single special year where we were staying home to fire a whole athletic staff and they went on a national championship run. It's like the one time Rick Moranis beat his brother down strawberry hill out of 100.

It's not the horseshoe!  It's the toilet bowl!  Now that I look at the picture of their stadium again... there is no way I can't but think of it as such and forever more.

Where's Michigan playing OSU next year?  Response:  It's in the the toilet, it's at the cammode (or if you prefer the shitter)

PS: Will think it, but won't say it (at least not till we win 3 in a row)

When the students engineered a temporary attendance and revenue decline,

it helped get rid of Brandon

It helped motivate the admin to get Harbaugh.

Also, it will now focus more attention on attendance each home game this year---as it becomes apparent that UM will inevitably the title back.

If OSU continues to post this graphic, just compare UM and OSU attendance using a running average for this year.  Better still, post the attendance figures for the past several decades.

Despite the fact that it really hurts to see Michigan fall off like that, I have to say that I love this stuff. Keep the banter going! Makes it that much more fun.
