Notre Dame got away with the pick play as well, clear as day on their first 3rd and 10 conversion in the first quarter. It was a big play/non-call.  If the refs called it, the rest of the game would have turned out differently, IMO. Teams are getting away with it, unfortunately.

09/15/2018 - 8:27am The 4 passes are probably…

The 4 passes are probably gone already.  In general, how does someone get passes to WTKA Victors Lounge?

09/05/2018 - 6:54pm Well, I do remember see…

Well, I do remember see Harbaugh yell "Great call Pep" in a video after a Michigan offensive play, so I'd say it was Pep calling the passing plays last year and Drevno the run plays.

09/04/2018 - 8:41pm Yeah,  all block needs to be…

Yeah,  all block needs to be improved. The wide receiver blocking, in particular, is very under-whelming.

09/04/2018 - 4:50pm Get rid of it.  The picture…

Get rid of it.  The picture chosen is just wrong.

09/03/2018 - 7:51pm I hate Michigan-based…

I hate Michigan-based recruiting and board analysts talking down Michigan and its players.  That's just not right.

09/03/2018 - 7:47pm Braylon, is that you?  Your…

Braylon, is that you?  Your Twitter apology was trash - not accepted.

09/03/2018 - 8:14am They won, but they still…

They won, but they still crapped the bed.

09/02/2018 - 6:23pm Shea Patterson is really…
  • Shea Patterson is really good and will only get better as he builds chemistry with his receivers.
  • Nico Collins - he really is good
  • Punting was good.
  • Ambry Thomas is a real threat on kick returns - hopefully, he has a few more TD's in store this season.  His stride reminded me of Breaston.
  • Defense made adjustments and shut them down in the 2nd half.
  • Chris Evans is a real weapon catching the ball out of the back field - use him more!

LOL, the way it is actually:

Honesty? Treat women with respect? NO!   Drugs! Stealing! Weapons!

So, in essence, they're telling their team not to be honest and don't treat women with respect. However, do drugs, steal, and carry weapons.  LOL ZS was just following directions.....

08/17/2018 - 7:03am Great stuff!  The podcast is…

Great stuff!  The podcast is always a great listen.  I love Harbaugh!

07/13/2018 - 9:36pm Tony Soprano.

No one else…

Tony Soprano.

No one else is even close.

07/04/2018 - 7:41am The Sopranos.

THE END.

The Sopranos.

THE END.

07/03/2018 - 8:11am I don't really find many…

I don't really find many people who "love" their job, so what is your job?  What do you love about it?

06/29/2018 - 7:20am How idiotic. If you only…

How idiotic. If you only look at Harbaugh's Big Ten record, then eh, can't argue. But, he's coached elsewhere and none of the other 3 would have taken an NFL to 3 straight NFC Championships and a Super Bowl in his first 4 seasons.  In fact, all 3 would be disasters in the NFL, just as king Saban was.  Wasn't it only a couple of seasons ago where Franklin was on the hot seat?? Now, he's a better coach then Harbaugh??? LOL, no -he's had a  better last 2 seasons.

05/20/2018 - 6:55am My gosh

People act like the two teams are even in all ways up to the game..ugh.  OSU has had a pretty big talent edge and we know that talent makes a big difference.  Michigan has the coaching edge, which has given the team a chance the last couple of seasons.  No matter how good the coaching or the game plan, when the game is on the line, the players (talent) have to execute and unfortunately, Michigan's players did not.  This coming season, Michigan will finally have top-notch QB talent, experienced WR talent, seasoned RB's, improved OL talent, and of course a top-rated defense with a lot of talent.....and all at the same time.  The future is bright!

05/02/2018 - 6:25am Here are mine

Oldies, but goodies:

  • The Sopranos (best show ever)
  • Breaking Bad
  • Six Feet Under
  • The Wire

Newer, but really good:

  • Ozark
  • Broadchurch
  • Game of Thrones
  • Big Little Lies

I have a hard time getting into shows, but the above did the trick. The Sopranos is the only show I can watch more than once - watched it 3 times and will watch again...truly a masterpiece all the way around.

04/30/2018 - 8:51pm My thoughts

- High quality wifi

- Better and less expensive food choices. For example, how about hot dogs that are truly grilled, instead of those steam/boiled hot dogs (gross) they sell for $7 now.  Don't sell stale dry pretzels (choking hazard). How about nachos with something more than just cheese and jalapenos (where's the beef?)?  The last time I had something at Michigan stadium that tasted good was when Mr. Spots had a concession stand there abou 8/9 years ago.

- Sell beer / alcohol

- Give away pom poms during big games, especially night games (remember Under the Lights? the pom poms were great)

04/29/2018 - 8:23am Question for you

Did you eventually get into Grad School?  I know someone who graduated with a 2.9 and he's thinking about starting grad school soon.

02/17/2018 - 6:59am Outside of unrealistic Michigan fans

Almost nobody predicted any more than 8 wins for Michigan.  The 8-5 season wasn't a suprise to non-Michigan folks, including Amazon. Michigan's record was actually better than what would be expected with the youth, inexperience, and injuries it had.   So, the idea that Amazon won't air it because of the 8-5 season doesn't make sense.  Maybe the original plan was to cover 2 seasons - the season of struggle and then the season of triump - makes for a good story.

02/17/2018 - 6:52am This right here

This right here pretty much sums up the 2017-2018 season and a great reason for optimism with Patterson at QB:

"Michigan often just lacked a QB who could get his feet set and deliver a quick, catchable ball to make the most of conflicted defenders"

02/10/2018 - 6:34am I remember

I do remember Mr. Spots having a stand there making philly sandwiches and I have to say that since they left 4-5 years ago (?) I have not found any concession food I actually like, except for the kettle corn.  The kettle corn is really good.

02/07/2018 - 5:30pm Yesssss!!!

He's a decent DC, but not a great one. I am glad he's staying.  BTW, I heard on another site that he was never offered the job.  Fake opportunity to create fake publicity for OSU.

01/27/2018 - 8:24am What?

But, you've already admitted that at the time you were more concerned with getting yourself laid.  Now, as a 50 + year old you care????

01/27/2018 - 8:23am What?

But, you've already admitted that at the time you were more concerned with getting yourself laid.  Now, as a 50 + year old you care????

01/10/2018 - 3:59pm Well deserved

Good things ahead for Michigan football!

01/09/2018 - 5:53pm Make it 16 teams

Make it 16 teams and I'm all in!  Non-playoff bowl games are boring, but making them playoff games instead would increase excitement, viewership, and obviosy revenue.

01/05/2018 - 11:54am I wouldn't doubt

I wouldn't doubt that Harbaugh pointed Taggart in Barnett's direction.  Win/win for Harbaugh and Taggart.

01/02/2018 - 6:17pm OK.

So either way, you're right.

01/02/2018 - 2:36pm Congrats

Congrats on making something of yourself. You should be very proud of yourself.    I appreciate the post and your attitude and completely agree with it.

01/02/2018 - 12:41pm Game for 2nd place in the SEC

Auburn beat both Alabama and Georgia.  This isn't a national championship game, but rather a game to see who is the 2nd best team in the SEC after Auburn.

01/02/2018 - 10:40am Huh?

Isn't Michigan football what this site is pretty much all about?  Should we all leave now?  You're disppointed, as all we Michigan fans are, but don't be irrational.

12/30/2017 - 8:24am This one...

He's obviously in training to be the next annoying OSU superfan...

12/07/2017 - 8:46pm Uhhhh....

Eliminate the conference championships and in an 8 team playoff, there would be no more games for the 8 teams there there is now for the 4 teams - 15 games.  This season's eventual national champion will have played 14-15 games in the season.

12/06/2017 - 9:33pm 16 teams

16 teams would be great!  It would make it more exciting.  How exciting would the NCAA Tournament be if it only had 4 or 8 teams in it? Not very.  Let 16 teams play it for the national championship. Most fans would love it!

Rather than wait a month to play the first playoff game, get them going with 8 games two weeks after the end of the regular season (no conference championships), then weekly games until the national championship. This season could have been:

8 games on December 9

4 games on December 16

2 games on December 23

National Championship on January 2nd

12/06/2017 - 5:34pm Playoffs

I want a 16 team playoff, but if Harbaugh wants 16 I DEFINITELY want 16. I don't get the argument that it diminishes the regular season schedule.  You still have to be good to make the playoffs and all the games matter.   All other sports have a playoff and we never hear "the playoffs diminish the regular season."  Nobody complains about the 60+ teams that make the NCAA basketall tournament and nobody complains when Michigan gets in as the 6th (24th best) or 10th (40th best team) seed.  Maybe we should skip all the other rounds of the NCAA tournament and just hold the final 4 since they are the 4 best teams.... why give a 6th seed a chance to be national champion when they weren't one of the best 4 teams at the end of the regular season??

The playoffs are exciting because anybody that's in them can win, not just any of the 4 teams voted in by biased men sitting around a table being all subjective about everything, changing their criteria to fit their wants, and then tell fibs about why they selected which teams and not others. Playoffs because the teams have to actually PLAY it out.  If you're in it, you can win it and I like that.

11/28/2017 - 7:16pm Really really enjoyed this one

I really enjoyed listening to the podcast.  Great stuff!

11/22/2017 - 1:27pm Toilet Bowl Stinkers

Toilet Bowl Stinkers

Can smell them a mile away

Buckeye tears bring joy

11/21/2017 - 3:02pm I will

Dance and sing like I'm 3 instead of 43.  Joy, pure joy.

11/19/2017 - 1:19pm The tackle was fine, but

After the tackle, the defender continue to drive an uncouncious Peter at least an additional yard along the ground, pushing off with his feet to gain leverage to do so. How is it not unnecessary roughness??

11/15/2017 - 6:22am Ummm....

The post said nothing about Michigan - it was about NC State's ranking and yet, your reply was about Michigan. Did you mean to reply to a different post?

10/31/2017 - 7:53pm But

LSU also lost to Troy!  Michigan lost to #9 PSU and #24 MSU and won all its other games.

10/31/2017 - 7:42pm What the heck???

Clemson is at #4????  They lost to unranked Syracuse, but hey their starting quarterback was injured, so disregard that loss....  Michigan lost to MSU  after it lost its starting quarterback and it drops almost 20 spots.  Also, LSU at #19??  MSU at #24? Yeah, they beat us, but they also just lost to Northwestern...   Our losses are to two top 25 teams.....  That's bullshit.

10/31/2017 - 3:00pm I love these!

I loved this podcast.  The discussion about the game, the OL, and the mindset of the team was great! Jack Harbaugh is a real gem.

10/21/2017 - 7:35am Wow

Regardless of the reason for the suspension of the license, how in the world does that make it OK that he drove while his license was suspended?  He pled to "defective equipment" when in fact he was driving without a valid license?? The idiodacy of this is incredible.  Another thing, would a regular Joe be able to get a similar case resolved within 2 days? NO, he'd have to wait weeks!  Gosh darn those prosecutors in the wastland of EL.... Sick.

10/09/2017 - 8:40pm How about

Some energizing music and some pom poms at the very least.  What happened to playing Sandstorm by Darude?  That to me is one of the best for a college football game.  I remember they played it at the first Under the Lights at ND and it was a terrific energizer.  SANDSTORM.

09/24/2017 - 5:12pm In my view

In my view, the DB committed pass intereference, essentially moving Perry away from the ball before it arrived (hence the ball was behind Perry) and picking it off.

09/10/2017 - 8:21pm LOL...

This is all on Urban . Can't blame JT or Beck or Herman or Wilson. This is squarely on Urban Meyer's shoulders. He said things would change after Clemson. Well, he was right- they've gotten worse.

04/13/2017 - 5:52am But....

Michigan didn't have the WR talent in 2015 and 2016 that it does now, so there are more viable options.  I think 4 guys with 40+ catches each is not out of the realm of possibility.

02/27/2017 - 4:29pm Yuck

IMO, those are downright ugly.
