When the mods tightened up the reins for posting during the season, they did allow for a Friday Posbang thread to throw us a bone. Football season is upon us, more Notre Dame players are getting in academic trouble, and we're staring a holiday weekend right in the face. The weekend's shaping up nicely, so bang away!

We are 27 hours from Michigan Football folks... A new season with (hopefully) a dominating defense and a 5th year QB. I am drunk on the kool aid... someone help me please!

Best time of the year. My son plays in his first HS Varsity game tonight and Michigan plays tommorrow. I anticipate a day of getting nothing done at work.

It's Friday, and football is here in full. Between my son's team (8th graders, with a win last week against a higher league team,) the high school team (Glenbard North, a team in the Chicago burbs that has been in the hunt for a State Championship,) and U of M (we're going to go 11 - 1 . . . book it!) what more could you want? Happy day, happy day, sun is shining, kids are at school, long weekend beckons, all is well.
