Chad Lindsay To OSU
A much-needed boost to Michigan's offensive line is apparently headed to the worst possible place:
Alabama transfer Chad Lindsay is expected to sign with Ohio State, per source. Buckeyes get new center for Braxton Miller

Well played, Urban.
Running around in a circle is a little over the top, but only a little. That Lindsay rejected his former OC and an almost certain starting spot is alarming, and now Michigan enters next year with zero senior scholarship OL.
those schools land proven winners, we land a coach with a losing record but is a michigan man.

Zok, ease up on the doom and gloom. Penn St is badly hamstrung by scholarship reductions. They should be able to field a decent 1st string, but it will likely have a few holes, and they will be lacking depth. There is no reason to finish behind them.
Also, Hoke made a good move bringing in Nussmeier to replace Borges. If nothing else, play calling is bound to improve. I still can't figure out why Borges would routinely have his TE chip block to assist Lewan. Of all the guys on that O-Line that needed help pass blocking, Lewan probably needed it the least. Also, the guy was so hung up on always doing the unexpected, he often ignored the obvious. There are times when you just need to impose your will on the other team. Borges rarely did that.
Kind of disturbing since we have his former OC here.
For his 1st three years. To say he is the saviour for this team is a bit of a stretch. This team has to start winning consistently and things will take care of themselves.
Um, when will that be?
I can firmly answer with, I have absolutely no clue!
Nussmeier was only at Alabama for two seasons.
this is the worst news related to chads since 2000
Thank you.
wish i'd thought to add, "the kid really left us hanging" before you got your reply in. wordplay > whining.
Just fuck it.
I give up.
have given up too? The collective wisdom on this blog is that the team just truly sucks along with the coaching staff, shouldn't we give them the benefit of the doubt that they have at least an equal understanding of reality? So if they can't win, why should they bother doing more than just enough to retain their scholarships? After all they do have their health to look after, I'm sure they don't want to risk their health on a losing proposition any more than those who are emotionally invested in losing really want to see the team win.
Thankfully Darell Funk is awesome at developing linemen...
So I guess 2 years ago when our OL was horrible and had 3 seniors on the interior can safely be blamed on RR?
It's been shown that before he got here , he has.
It has? Or is it like that canard about Hoke "rebuilding" the Ball St. program?
Really. He's playing for one year, and as we saw last year, one good player does not a good OL make. If we develop the young OL, we'll be fine. If we don't, we were gonna be screwed anyway.
2014, why hast thou forsken us?
Meanwhile, we can't seem to find a QB that wants to play here for 2015. After putting all our QBs in the NFL for like two straight decades.
GO AWAY 2013! STOP IT. STOP IT NOW.
I was hoping for some good news today.
Die in a fire, Urban Meyer.
That is all.
It's not Urban's fault that Michigan is in a bad spot. The blame rests with Hoke, and the man that hired him to begin with.
I would say significantly more on Brandon than Hoke. BH is in over his head but it's his dream job. He's not going to say no. DB, however, showed his true colors during the "search" of 2011.
Want to get real? OK. Look at the amount of money Michigan is paying Mattison and Nussmeier to come work for him. More than they were making at their previous jobs, which says a lot.
Is players not leaving supposed to be a sign of good morale? Because the last time we saw this team play, they quit and kind of admitted they quit after the game.
And yes, a guy who was never a coordinator and only a head coach in the MAC and Mountain West IS over his head in a job like this. I don't think that's a controversial statement.
Lets get REALLY REAL. Everyone unzip and lets meaure our dicks.
But seriously, Hoke's getting 5 years to do this thing. So grab your ankles.
Did you just get back from the Urologist?
So if we revisit Schembechler's resume and Carr's resume prior to their Michigan head coaching positions, we'll see SEC head coaching experience?
comparing hoke to bo -- umm, no.
"And yes, a guy who was never a coordinator and only a head coach in the MAC and Mountain West IS over his head in a job like this."
Isn't that Urban Meyer's resume before Florida hired him?
Pretty much, minus a MASSIVE difference in success as MAC/Mountain West HC.
Look on the bright side. At least we have fixed the chemistry issues.....right?
as we saw with Rodriguez, that gets you through the first six games
Just maybe he thought he should have been starting for Bama and blames Nussmeier for his own shortcomings. If he didn't come to play for Nussmeier, who he must know pretty well, there is probably an issue that will never be known to people outside the coaching staff.
Maybe Nuss has severe halitosis.
It can be hard at times to be positive about UM football. It's hard enough to lose a guy we need, but man it just seems they go to our rivals so often. I'm sure they think the same thing, but sheesh. What I wouldn't do do for 9 wins and a road victory in Columbus.
He heard that in Columbus they have the contacts where he can sell his two rings for some tats and dough.

is the funniest thing I have seen in weeks...Gee's dumbass blank look, and Tressel's head jerking. lolololol,
thank you
I don't care.
...where I see more and more Michigan fans hit the "acceptance" stage of the greiving process. I accepted a long time ago that we just cannot compete with OSU in most aspects of football. I still love my school and I still go to as many games (if not more) as I always have, but under this coaching staff, we have very little chance to ever compete with OSU. It sounds depressing, but I sure do get more sleep and am happier during the football season. I more productive at work, so I guess not all is lost.
Now, I'm still in the "denial" and perhaps "bargaining" stage with our place in the MSU rivalry. Losing this year to Sparty may push me to "acceptance".
