How? They don't care what people think. OSU is still going to win, and top recruits are still going to go there. NCAA or law enforcement would have to get involved... and that's not going to happen.
You're wrong Double-D. There's no such thing as Karma. OSU and Meyer, have been dirty for years. Nothing ever happens to them. They only enjoy success.. and will continue to do so. I wish shit would catch up to them, but it never does.
Sparty may have been crushed, but local media are making them out as heroes.
From Pat Caputo, Oakland press:
"The Spartans have nothing to apologize about despite being utterly embarrassed by Ohio State"
He's not the only one either. The local angle is... "Michigan blows out the Terps, but has a lot of issues." Sparty on the other hand... "MSU is going to be special, in time."
So the fact that MSU was blown out doesn't seem to mean much.
Well one good thing. Next week when Michigan is getting killed... maybe Peters will play. Or maybe O'Korn can run the option. Because he can't make reads, or throws.
At least the NFL isn't corrupt. You have major programs across the country, that cheat year in, year out. Nothing ever happens to them. If anything, they're protected. Basketball is even worse. So while the college game has good points. It's also a corrupt system, that will never be cleaned up.
Look, I know your a Buckeye fan, but if you think there is nothing wrong with Drayton, saying this about his recuritment of Webber... then leaving once he had his LOI... then I don't know what to tell you...
"My job is to provide him with the information that is needed, make him aware of the opportunities that he has here at Ohio State, and most importantly be honest and as real as I possibly can for him, so he can make a legit decision for he and his family."
Drayton and Urban knew, before signing day. He was talking to Weber about honesty, and the whole time knowing he was gone. He and OSU flat out lied to Weber. No way of escaping that fact
If I were a coach, I'd be B1G centric. I'd always root for the conference publicly. However, I'm just a fan. I don't have to tow the party line. I hope the Ducks beat OSU by 50.
On First Take today, both Bayless and Stephen A were praising JH. Bayless said something like it was a wonderful hire, and he was happy for Michigan. They both went on to crush York and Balke. I'm sure after the show, they were reprimanded for not following Company doctrine.
That can't be Coach Hoke. Not once did he say anything about toughness, chemistry, accountability, and of course, youth. Always have to talk about youth.
Dombrowski better be a good trader, because he can't draft or develop players. The minor league system is barren. He has been drafting big arms since he's been here, where are they? It would be nice to have one of them now, so we could see somebody other then Phil Coke.
When there is nobody in your farm system that is better then a 37 year old shortstop... there is an issue. How about a good young outfielder? The Tigers don't have any of those either. All we see from the Tiger's farm system is a parade of journeymen.
Dombrowski deserves some credit for the things he's done. However, his inability to build a farm system is glaring. With the payroll the Tigers have now, they need good, young, and cheap players. With the state of the minors, it doesn't appear that's going to happen anytime soon.
What good is it to recruit well, when this staff can't develope players? Brandon has tied himself to Hoke. There won't be any changes for at least a few years. The only hope is that the donors who pay the big bucks, will put heat on Brandon.
No sense in getting upset. We might as well get used to it. This staff and AD, will be around till at least 2018. It's not all bad though, at least that clown DB... has a Michigan man at the helm.
This isn't on Hoke. It's on the buffoon that hired him in the first place. Instead of a football coach/teacher... DB hired a cheerleader and goodwill ambassador. Yeah for us...
Just where is this leadership overhaul going to come from? DB, Hoke, and this staff aren't going anywhere. So... behold the future, and wait till 2018. By then, maybe somebody in "leadership" will realize that a change is needed.

You're wrong... No such thing as karma. OSU has been dirty for a long time. Nothing ever happens to them. They just get better and stronger.
Karma hasn't adjusted OSU's account in years. I wouldn't expect it now either.

Nothing will happen to Dantonio and Izzo. They own East Lansing. They'll ride out the storm, and watch as everything else burns down around them.

Just run Wishbone next week. Oh hell, O'Korn probably can't make those reads either.

At least O'Korn can hand the ball off.

This is what happens when you don't have a QB. Time for Peters. One would think even JH can see that.

Good way to end a night.
OTB Staff Predictions. Sometimes you see things in print, and you don't believe what you read...

A shooting team that can't shoot or make layups. Bigs that are soft, and have bad hands. Interesting team that Beilein has put together.
.
No way MSU loses next week. PSU's O-Line is a tire fire. Urban probably had a great game plan, but didn't want to show Michigan anything.

OP... +1 for the reference "A Bridge Too Far" One of my favorite books.

Gif made my day. I LoL'd. Well done.
Ladies and Gentlemen... This is not a drill...
Repeat... this is not a drill. All commands, we are now at DEFCON 2.
The Brids are warmed up and ready to go. Now we wait. Should things fall apart now, and we go to DEFCON 1... God help us all.
Not even angry or depressed. It is what it is. Michigan football, what we knew as Michigan football is dead. It was a hell of a run.
What he said. Welcome to Michigan.
Very nice surprise. Welcome to Michigan Brian.
That can't be Coach Hoke. Not once did he say anything about toughness, chemistry, accountability, and of course, youth. Always have to talk about youth.
It's not Urban's fault that Michigan is in a bad spot. The blame rests with Hoke, and the man that hired him to begin with.

Proud of this team, and they were fun to watch all season. Jordan Morgan, thanks for leading the way.
Welcome to Michigan.
Way to finish strong. Congrats to Coach B, staff, and especially the players.
Even if that rumor were true, the interest would have to be mutual. Brandon already has his Michigan man in place. Hooray for the program.
The difference between RR's defense at Michigan, and Michigan's current defense... is what exactly?
David Brandon, loves people like you.
Hoke can survive just fine. You forget he has a, "David Brandon get out of jail free" card.
Coaching? There was coaching tonight? Great... and I missed it.
Hoke = Rod Marinelli

After a month of bowl practices, and Michigan comes out with this. I feel much better that this staff will be around for years to come.
Oh God, when will this end...
Thankfully, this death march of a season is almost over. Fortunately, even if Michigan loses nobody will be watching.
"This may not be our proudest moment . . ."
You'll have to be more specific. There are many to choose from lately.
Can you please explain what, "Michigan will be back on top", means? You'll have to refresh my memory. I don't remember that time very well.
I find it hard to congratulate our Juggalo Overlords. I just can't do it... even if it means, being put to the sword.
Sigh... what a sad state of affairs.
My old friend... 8-4, we can't seem to get rid of you.
This makes sense because... .... .... .... Ok, I got nothing.
