Blue in St Lou

Until this thread, I'd never heard of this guy. But I just googled him. I have copied the second item below (sorry, I'm an old guy; I can copy but not embed), and I would like to know: the #1 program in American what? American League? American Athletic Conference? American Kennel Club? American Express? American cheese? American Idol? American Eagle Outfitters? American flag (and long may it wave)? Anyway, here is what he says on google:

James Yoder - Michigan Football Report (@ChatWolverines) | Twitter

I'll bet that there was a calculation here; on the one hand this is an exceedingly rare call-out/knockdown, and if Ace really had any skin in this, he might get a lawyer to sue the Regents.  (You can make up whatever business tort you might want to dream up.)

But on the other hand, I've been seeing his stuff pop up on the 'net (by chance/accident/searchbots) and I kept wondering, "Wow, that guy is getting away with some abuse of Michigan images and trademarks!"  I expect that this was not, uh, the only letter that was sent out with regard to Mr. AceWilliamsYoder.  If you catch my drift.

I think the most hilarious thing about this is that since Yoder isn't on the distribution list, without Twitter or real sports blogs covering it, the guy would never know this official letter is out there.

After reading that wonderful Yahoo article, Yoder is the kind of guy who is going to read the comments in this post 20x tonight while the rest of us are off to the bar or whatnot.

@Smells.like.Victory: In your short time here you've displayed an inordinate amount of fascination with claiming other people are using alt accounts, have a problem spelling things correctly, have attempted to make fun of a user by accusing them of being a "20 year old Michigan student" (as if that's a bad thing on this blog) and have made at least one racial slur/statement that probably should have gotten you banned (something about a poster's Nigerian children).

You also started out your first month by posting quasi legitimate content to include screenshots- something a internet savvy blogger who didn't want to get labeled as a troll right away would do. That quickly devolved to your true nature, however.

That you come out of the shadows to try and bite me for saying something I am absolutely sure would make Yoder very mad, only confirms you are one of Yoder's accounts. That you were trolling internet blogs at 1am on a friday night is sad, really.

And as has been known for a long time, Chat Sports (is there a reason why we keep talking about "Chat Sports" even if/when it was just Yoder?) used pseudonyms for bylines.  Brian Cook & co. were onto the phoniness of "Ace Williams" from the start, and Yoder eventually openly admitted that Chat Sports featured multiple fake writing names.  As if that was a standard business practice.  And they were some pretty great names.  Pulp fiction kinds of sportswriting names.

I throw Yoder in that box with Henson. They may know someone that knows someone who knows someone that’s inside Schembechler Hall, but pass it off as if they are connected to the program. This fan base is thirsty for info about the team, so a bunch of twitter accounts have sprouted up claiming they have “inside” info as well. They need to be called out as well.

Dave Ablauf from the top rope with the finishing move!!!  Glad they did something against leeches such as James T. Yoder.

Mods, I hope you pin this entire thread as sticky.
