I couldn't find this posted, but here is the Mgoblue post

Happy for the donor money but all the vanity titles are nonsense.
January 11th, 2019 at 9:08 AM ^
You didn't seem to mind when Owen threw some money your way
January 11th, 2019 at 10:11 AM ^
Was Sanford Robertson pissed about getting no return on his gift while Michigan had no designated offensive coordinator?
January 11th, 2019 at 10:15 AM ^
I don't understand the hate for them. How does a superficial title of a job have any effect on you or your fandom? I could not care less.
January 11th, 2019 at 10:29 AM ^
Not mad. Attaching sponsored people names to other people is just silly as hell.
January 11th, 2019 at 11:16 AM ^
Not that it's a big deal, but I honestly think less of the Harris family for being so vain as to require the stupid AD refer to the head coaching position with that awful title.
Charity is great, I'm glad they donated some money to the AD or University of whatever but do it anonymously or put your name on a plaque at the big house or something. Whatever the intent was - to honor their family or whatever - it does the opposite for me. I'm certainly a nobody and maybe I'm in the minority so if that's doing something for them, ok, cool. Go Blue.
January 11th, 2019 at 1:14 PM ^
You and Owen and I can now declare ourselves a majority over J. Irritant and Nookie Harris and rule that the Harris's are totally uncool.
January 11th, 2019 at 4:13 PM ^
We should pool some money for the TrueBlue2003, rob f and OwenGoBlue Agree Endowing Positions is Tasteless and/or Silly Graduate Assistant endowment.
January 12th, 2019 at 8:50 AM ^
I'm in!
January 11th, 2019 at 8:56 AM ^
So excited! Welcome aboard Josh and family!
January 11th, 2019 at 8:57 AM ^
Still not over the fifteen word official head coach title and apparently it has spread to assistants as well. I'm sure the Harrises are wonderful people but come on.
January 11th, 2019 at 10:12 AM ^
Would Ira Harris have donated all that dough to the program if his name wasn't going to be attached like a barnacle to the program that he has zero connection to other than through his wallet? It's not pure philanthropy for these folks—there's also a huge component of ego.
January 11th, 2019 at 10:39 AM ^
I'd love to know how these donations work ... are they recurring commitments of money to the program? Or are they a one-time lump sum that's put into a trust, and the proceeds from that trust are what's used to "fund" the coaching chair? Anyone know?
January 11th, 2019 at 9:00 AM ^
Holy Hell - this guy's WR coaching bonfides are fuckin' BONAFIDE!!! DPJ, Collins, and Black must be frothing at the bit to get him on campus and start working!
January 11th, 2019 at 9:06 AM ^
Our WR commits are also pumped (Giles and Mike S.). I hope Oliver Martin gets a lot of run next year too. I think DPJ should be starting slot, but Oliver needs to see the field. I thought he looked better than Grant Perry this year.
January 11th, 2019 at 9:16 AM ^
I feel bad for Perry. He seemed like he would develop into a really good player, and then he just disappeared.
January 11th, 2019 at 9:29 AM ^
I feel bad for him, too - to a point. He backtracked (or regressed, if you prefer) when he came back from his legal problems. He had to (rightfully) earn his way back on the field, and others had caught up to him before he could do so.
He had the pole position to be a starter and show that hard work and leadership can keep you on the field. But he gave that up when he acted incredibly stoopid. WTH was he doing in E Lansing to party just a couple days before the game there? And grabbing ass? Yeah, college kids do college things, and I'm glad he got all that behind him, but he should not have put himself in that position to begin with.
I wish him luck in the future, he did earn his way back and show leadership during his last season - and those prove his character more than the dumbass thing he got into trouble for.
January 11th, 2019 at 12:09 PM ^
I'm gonna say right now that Perry will make an NFL team next year. Strong route runner, smart, good hands.
January 11th, 2019 at 9:21 AM ^
The thought of DPJ, Black, and Collins on the field at the same time is amazing and scary for the opposing defense.
January 11th, 2019 at 10:09 AM ^
Who are the other two skill positions that you put out there with them? Evens as a RB who get 5-6 targets a game out of the backfield and perhaps one of our young receiving TE? Seems like that would be a tough group to defend.
January 11th, 2019 at 11:37 AM ^
Only if Harbaugh commits to actually throwing the ball to them. Hopefully, bringing Gattis in is the move to a more wide open offense.
January 11th, 2019 at 9:57 AM ^
Frothing at the bit = Frothing at the mouth + Chomping at the bit?
January 11th, 2019 at 10:00 AM ^
Yes! The stallions want to go!
::I dunno, man. Leave me alone. :) ::

January 11th, 2019 at 8:36 PM ^
It’s “champing” at the froth.
January 11th, 2019 at 10:20 AM ^
I am absolutely stealing "frothing at the bit ".
January 11th, 2019 at 9:14 AM ^
See.... God still loves Michigan. We flip a recruit from 'bama and then steal a young coach who was only with them for 1 year.
January 11th, 2019 at 9:23 AM ^
Meh.
Bama is old news.
We haven't gotten anybody from Clemson.

January 11th, 2019 at 9:30 AM ^
I read somewhere that losing an ascending young coach with recruiting chops after one year means that your program is in chaos. I guess Satan must be in trouble down in Tuscaloosa

Just thrilled to be here!
January 11th, 2019 at 10:23 AM ^
Welcome coach. Glad you found your way to the site so quickly!
January 11th, 2019 at 12:09 PM ^
I appreciate the warm welcome. A quick Google search was all I needed!
January 11th, 2019 at 9:20 AM ^
I was skeptical at first, but once you are the "Sanford Robertson Offensive Coordinator" it must be a real thing.
The Michigan difference.
January 11th, 2019 at 12:24 PM ^
At least it wasn't "The Sanford P. and Stephanie J. Robertson Family Offensive Coordinator" there's that

Transformational Capital for technology companies
Well goody goody for you.
I helped my mom set up AOL once.
January 11th, 2019 at 9:31 AM ^
Did the setup take the requisite four days thanks to the blazing fast and super reliable US Robotics 14400 baud modem sitting directly to the right of the tower?
January 11th, 2019 at 9:48 AM ^
You hated that dial-up noise, but you loved it when you finally heard it.
January 11th, 2019 at 10:30 AM ^
Or "You've got mail"
Never forget it.
January 11th, 2019 at 9:33 AM ^
"I helped my mom set up AOL once."
Ugh, no thanks! Mostly because I live ~600 miles from my parents, I refused to help them get started with a computer. I did not want that hand-holding over the phone from hundreds of miles away, with the sure knowledge that my siblings (who visit them every day) would not help me! They never asked, and I never offered. Some things are better left to rotary dial phones...
January 11th, 2019 at 9:30 AM ^
When's the release announcing that Pep Hamilton has been named the Alan A. Borges Formerly Employed Assistant Coach?
January 11th, 2019 at 9:31 AM ^
That was funny.
January 11th, 2019 at 10:19 AM ^
Wow, it looks like we may have actually gotten what we were wishing for . . . a real Offensive Coordinator, from the Moorhead and Locksley school of offensive coaching.
Color me happy.
January 11th, 2019 at 11:48 AM ^
I’ll go get my crayons!
January 11th, 2019 at 10:24 AM ^
I am going to change my title to the George and Weezy Jefferson Managing Partner. Not exactly as good as J. Ira, but dignified nonetheless.
January 11th, 2019 at 10:27 AM ^
"Josh Gattis" is a kick-ass name.
January 11th, 2019 at 12:09 PM ^
I can thank my Mammoo for that!
